New Challenge at AAA Birthday!

Hi friends!
I'm here with my DT card for the new challenge at AAA Birthday where the theme for the month of March is Under the Sea! Please remember we only allow birthday cards. :) In my card I've combined two digital elements: a background by Alex Syberia and turtles from Varada Sharma. My sentiment is by Stampendous. I've colored the turtles with Copics, masked them, and added a couple of distress ink shades to the background. I've splattered some water and paint on top for even more "under the sea" feel! Hope you like and thank you for popping by. I look forward seeing your cards in the gallery!

8th Birthday Special Challenge at Time Out!

Hi friends!

I'm here with my DT card for our new challenge at Time Out. This will be a very special fortnight: we are celebrating our 8th birthday with a special challenge! We have EIGHT sponsors and also 4 of our former designers are joining us in the fun. Please do not miss any of the inspiration or any challenge details, click HERE

In my card I'm using a digital image by one of our sponsors, Alex Syberia. I've colored the image with Copics and that's basically all there is to this card -this card panel fills the card front completely and does all the design work for you! :) I've simply added a Happy Birthday sentiment and that's all there is to this card design. Oh some paint splatters, yes! Never forget paint splatters! :)

Now it's your turn to take Time Out and craft! Thank you for popping by! xx

New Challenge at Time Out!

Hi friends!

It's time for the first Time Out Challenge of 2022... And it is a wonderful one, "In Love"! Time to remember your loved ones, get working on those Valentine's cards or just be in love with whatever that feels suitable -like with stylish shoes as I've been! :) We all know how many ladies are almost obsessed with beautiful shoes, right! I've used a beautiful digital image by our sponsor Alex Syberia. All the challenge and prize details in the challenge blog, simply click HERE! Our winners always get called to guest design for us and this time we have one of my very good friends joining us -Milla from Mustesormi blog. We both live in Finland but there's quite many hours in a train between us... So due to the pandemic we haven't met in more than two years now. :( However we have spent many many fun crafty weekends together, just coloring away, chatting, eating candy and enjoying an occasional drink -Coca Cola for Milla and red wine for me! :) Miss you, Milla!

My card is very CAS this time -I've simply colored in the image with Copics, added some gems, black heat embossed the sentiment (by Altenew), attached the panel to a card base and called it ready. Hope you like and thanks for popping by!

New Challenge at Time Out!

Hi friends!
I'm here with my DT card for Time Out Challenges where for the next fortnight we are inspired by "Down to Earth". There's alaso an optional twist to use kraft card and all the entrants that have chosen the optional twist have the chance to win a gift voucher to our sponsor Alex Syberia! Alex Syberia makes amazing digital stamps and cut files.

I used an Alex Syberia image Autumn Leaves Frame, colored it with Altenew markers, cut a window to it and and made my card into a shaker. The sentiment comes from Altenew. My inspiration comes from fall time: during autumn the ground in Finland is covered with leaves that have fallen down from the trees -lots of raking for us house owners lol! The fallen leaves would have beautiful earthy tones in real life but in my card I decided to play with lots of color. It's soon the darkest time of the year and I wanted make something that would be very cheerful and uplifting!

Thank you for popping by and now it's your turn to take time out and craft. xx

New challenge at AAA Birthday Card Challenges!

Hi friends!
I'm here with my DT card for the new challenge at AAA Birthday Card Challenges where in the month of October we want to see you make slimline birthday cards! Alex Syberia is our sponsor in this challenge and many DT members are playing with her amazing digis and cut files. All the challenge and prize details along with lots of DT inspiration HERE!

I used an Alex Syberia image called Autumn Bouquet as my focal point and colored it in with Copics and Altenew markers. I added lots of shine from Stickles and Wink of Stella! Some of my coloring did not really please my eye so I decided to add some die cut maple leaves (die by Poppystamps if I remember right!) to hide my errors lol! The background is inked after some simple masking and I've also splattered paint and added some gems. Hope you like and thanks for popping by! I look forward seeing you playing along!

I'd like to play along:

So beautiful! All the challenge details and more DT inspiration in our challenge blog HERE

In my card I've used a stunning digital image by our sponsor Alex Syberia Design . The image is called Spring Tulips and it's just one of her amazing florals... Have a look at the store!! I've colored the image with Copics and pencils and added some white gel pen highlights. The background card is dark teal colored but looks black in the photo... To celebrate this release, Alex is giving away 7 $10 gift certificates.

There's so much inspiration for you in this blog hop using the new images. The full list of blogs/IG accounts is available in Alex's blog HERE and also in this post, after the card photos.

Let's have a look what I made!

Card 1
White Gardenia

Well... Not that white in my card lol! I've printed this image on kraft, colored it with Copics and pencils, splattered some gold and white paint and created a simple card with dimension from die cutting and heat embossing the sentiment.

Card 2
Kokeshi Doll Mitsuki

This kokeshi doll image is so adorable, something completely different, right!! Again I've colored the image with Copics and pencils and created a simple card with die cut details and a heat embossed sentiment. The idea for the green hair and red eye glasses came from my boyfriend!

Card 3
Full Bloom

Alex's designs look amazing printed both small or large, all sizes work! I wanted to print the Full Bloom image pretty small to practice on using my Copics for creating shading on smaller petals. My CAS loving heart enjoys all the white space here... And again I've created the card with dimensional die cutting and heat embossed sentiment. :)

I hope you like this inspiration and thanks for popping by! Here's the complete blog hop list for you, I've also noted where you are at the moment. :) Happy hopping!

New Challenge at Time Out!

Hi friends!
I'm here to share my DT card for the new challenge at Time Out where we are inspired by this photo:

Lots to be inspired there, right! I chose the color scheme of the photo + the wreath on the wall made me grab the Spring Frame digi by Alex Syberia Design. I colored the image with Copics and added lots of paint splatters in white, black and yellow. I don't know why my mind goes to a jungle when I look at the final result! :)

This challenge is sponsored by Uniko with an in stock stamp set of our winner's choice! Yay! Our winner will also be called to guest design in a future challenge -this time our fabulous guest is Ana. Play along for a chance to win the amazing prize and to join us in the future!

I'd like to join:
Uniko Challenge March/April: Spots and Stripes (stripes in the leaves, spots are paint splatters!)
The flower challenge: Spring/Autumn -definitely autumn this time! :)

Guest Designing at Alex Syberia Design, Card 3!

Hello friends!
Here's the third card I made with a flower digi stamp from the gorgeous new release at Alex Syberia Design! Alex's Etsy shop is filled with amazing digi stamps, perfect for coloring. I hope you'll check her digi stamps out, I can tell they were a joy to work with!

The image I used in my card today is called Abstract Flowers. I went with sort of crazy Copic combination and just added some quick coloring, not making folds in the petals or anything... Just something simple. The sentiment is by Waffleflower and the stripes were stamped with an ancient SSS stamp. :) I also printed the image on masking paper so I could add some ink sponging to the background after masking the image.

Here's a look of all 3 cards I've made... Details of the first two you'll find in previous posts!

With this card I'd like to join these challenges:

The Flower Challenge: Spring / Autumn colors (mine being spring!)

That's all from me today and do check out Alex's new release HERE! Thank you so much Alex for having me as guest designer.

Guest Designing at Alex Syberia Design, Card Two!

Hi friends!
I'm back with my second guest designer card for Alex Syberia Design Digital Dtamps, this time using an image called Madame Dahila, another beautiful floral image from the new release!

As my card from yesterday, this is also colored in with Copics but on white Neenah card. I did add quite a lot of gel pen details as well.

The dark reds I used covered the original black outlines a bit too much to my taste so I went over with them with a black Memento marker. It was a bit scary but luckily I didn't mess anything up too badly lol!

Thanks for popping by, I'll be back tomorrow with my third card for the new release! I would like to thank Alex again for having me as a guest designer, this has been such an inspiring weekend, I have been admiring everyone's coloring sooooo much!! If you are an Instagram user, do check out #alexsyberiadesign so you'll know what I'm talking about! :)

Guest Designing at Alex Syberia Digital Stamps New Release!

HI friends!
I'm so delighted, happy and honored to be guest designing at Alex Syberia's new release this weekend, making cards with her new digital images! The new images are available in her shop now and here I'm sharing the first card I made with them. Two more cards to come, one tomorrow and one on Monday!

In my card today I've printed the Spring Frame image on kraft card and colored in with Copics. I've added details with gel pens and splattered little bit of white paint on the edges too because I seem to be addicted to doing so in almost all of my cards. :) The large die cut sentiment comes from STAMPlorations.

I'd like to join:
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Spring mood board

The Flower Challenge: Spring/Autumn (going with the spring here!)

Thank you so much Alex for inviting me to play with your new release! I'm in love with these gorgeous floral images, don't forget to check them all out in her store

I'l be back here in my blog tomorrow sharing the second card I made with the new floral images. Hope you like and thanks for popping by!
