New Challenge at Time Out!

Hi friends!
We have a new challenge for you at Time Out Challenges:

I went traditional and chose the holiday season. :) The fabulous die I used comes from our generous sponsor Poppy Stamps. I used gold mirror card along with gold glitter card and gold heat embossing and all of these were a nightmare to photograph...  Below is a photo in sunlight so you can see all the sparkle and shine. The first photo is taken in evening light.

Hope you like and thanks for popping by! Lots of more DT inspiration and all challenge details in our challenge blog.

Time Out Challenges Reminder!

Hi friends!
I'm here to remind you of the gorgeous photo inspiration challenge we are having at TIME OUT Challenges, still running for about one week:

I think it's pretty clear how I was inspired! Love the fresh colors of these flower arrangements and the pumpkin "vases". :)

Poppystamps sponsors this challenge and I've used their wonderful stamp and die set Little Kindness in my card. The other dies come from MFT and Penny Black. Poppystamps designer Jeanne Jachna is joining us in this challenge, have a look at her gorgeous inspiration card HERE. Along with Jeanne, also Angie who was Top at Taking TIME OUT a couple of weeks ago, joins us in the fun. Her amazing blog is HERE.

I've heat embossed the Poppystams flowers and leaves with white powder on colored card and have then used distress inks for giving the colored card a bit livelier look. The MFT half circle is inked with DI:s as well and I've splattered white and gold paint on top. The sentiment is simply stamped. Some golden, sparkly sequins finish off the card.

I'd like to join:
Pixie's Snippets Playground #335 (the flowers, leaves and the vase are all die cut from left over card stock pieces)
Penny Black and More: Make it Feminine

Thanks for popping by and I hope to see you joining us!

New Challenge at Inkspirational!

HI friends!
We have a very fun and unique challenge for you at Inkspirational, chosen by the lovely Sandie:

Here's the directions how to play along:

The 10 mins starts when you actually start making your card-you can collect all the items you need to make the card before you start that clock!
We would love to know how long it took you to make this-just for fun!

My card took a bit over 7 minutes but I think I might have cheated a little bit because I could not tell myself not to practice the design on a scrap piece of paper beforehand a little bit! :) Bad Nonni!

I used Hero Arts neon colored inks for the flowers and leaves and just good old Versafine for the sentiment. Love these Poppystamps flowers and leaves!

Sorry for the very quick and short blog post but I am not home right now but doing some intensive studying for work! I hope to see you joining me, our GD Deanne and all our design team in this fun stamping challenge!

New Challenge at Less Is More!

Hi guys!
We have a new challenge for you at Less Is More and this time it's a color challenge with a combo I personally love... Let's see what you guys think about it! So the colors are:

I hope you'll have fun creating with these colors.

We are already in May which means we have a new sponsor... And this time it is Winnie and Walter. Do play along in our both challenges in May for a change to win! As always, our design team has made fantastic samples for your inspiration and we are also happy to have a guest designer: Jojo. Really love the soft look of her card! This week I only have one card but I hope you'll like it. :)

I've created my card with patterned paper, dies (MFT for the "shape dies" and Winnie and Walter for the sentiment) and heat embossed + die cut flowers and leaves by Poppystamps. This card took a while to make, I just couldn't decide what direction to take with my elements (or what elements to include in the first place!) but I'm very happy with the end result and hope you'll like it too. Below you'll find a list of challenges I'm entering. Thanks for popping by and I hope to see you joining us!

Challenges I'd like to enter:

That's Crafty: A stitch in time (I have faux stitching both in the base and in the die cut patterned paper shape)
Poppystamps Challenge #44: Patterned Paper
Pixie's Snippets Playground challenge #325: use snippets (everything on top of the base is die cut from leftovers!)
Penny Black and More: Anything Goes
Stamping Sensations: Close to Nature

TIME OUT Challenges Reminder

Hi friends!
I'm here to remind you of our current challenge at TIME OUT where we challenge you to be:

I went with bold leopard print! :)

In my card I'm using products from the sponsor of our challenge, PoppystampsTheir store is a delight to visit and is packed with top quality goodies-take a look here. They also have a fab blog. Take a look at it here and sign up so you don't miss out on all the fun! On their blog they are running a 'Clean and Simple' challenge. So if you have some of their products and make a clean and simple card for our challenge...then link it up to their challenge for a chance to win more prizes!!

The die I used can be purchased in Poppystamps store HERE and the sentiment stamp is from a floral stamp set HERE. I've used the flowers from the stamp set in a card a couple of weeks ago (with a very similar design, this is one of my faves right now!) HERE . Here's a quick photo of some of the flowers in the stamp set:

Thanks for popping by and I hope you enjoy this CAS card. Have a look at all the TIME OUT design team inspiration in our challenge blog. This time our guest designer is the talented Marieke, I truly love her style! Happy crafting, everyone!

I'd like to join:
Poppystamps March Challenge: Clean and Simple

New Challenge at Less Is More!

Hi friends!

We have a new challenge for you at Less Is More! We continue with our birthday festivities and have some of our alumni DT members creating with us and we also have prizes for you to win... Don't miss any of the fun, the amazing amount of inspiration and prize details, click HERE. Our challenge topic is a fun, but possibly a challenging one:

Dry embossing is something that is maybe not easy to incorporate to CAS designs but that's why we love challenges... They challenge us! :) Let's see what I came up with.

Card 1 Feathers (above)

I've used dry embossing in two ways here:

*I've dry embossed the whole background using a very subtle embossing folder, something that's very suitable for CAS backgrounds.

*The feathers are cut from previously dry embossed card. The feather die was a freebie with a crafting magazine some years ago and I still use it -it actually does some embossing in itself too!

A very simple layout with these feathers + a bit of wash tape and sequins to embellish the card. The Finnish sentiment means "for you". It's a rubber stamp and just impossible to stamp straight, I tell you!!!! I start to think the whole sentiment is somehow "crooked" on the rubber itself! I think this was the first and last time this stamp came out to play...

With this card I'd like to play along at:

Card 2 Flowers (below)

In the detail photo you can see how I've used dry embossing here -just on 1/3 of the card making sure there's lots of white space left. This design is quite detailed but I'm hoping to get away with it, to me it is CAS enough! :) The stamped, Copic colored and die cut flowers come from Poppy Stamps and my currently favorite decorative edge die comes from Lil'Inker.

With this card I'd like to enter:

New Challenge at Inkspirational!

Hi guys!
We have a new challenge for you at Inkspirational:

I was a bit lost what to do with this word prompt... So in the end I just decided to attach as many things on top of each other I could think of. :) I love making cards with tags and found the perfect sketch for inspiration from Fusion Card Challenges. I cut my die cuts and vellum strip from snippets so I can play along at Pixie's Snippets Playground weeks 317 & 318 too. The tag coloration is created with Brushos and water and I love the ombre looked I achieved. I'm naturally then playing along at Addicted to CAS: Ombre and I think my colors are pretty cold so I'm playing along at AAA Cards: Chilled too!

I hope to see you playing along at Inkspirational! Don't miss any of the other DT cards and challenge details, click HERE
