Card for Challenges!

Hi guys!
I'm here with a card for a couple of challenges! I loved this inspiration photo at Altenew April Inspiration challenge:

I had lots of fun coloring in my flowers with Copics. I added some white gel pen and Wink of Stella details. The watercolor-look bg paper is from Lawn Fawn and "the rectangle" die is by Penny Black.

I'm also playing along at:

New Challenge at Less Is More!

Hi friends!
I'm here with my DT cards for the latest challenge at Less Is More, where we have a sketch challenge for you. This is how the sketch looks like:

I really love this sketch and created two cards with it. Let's discuss the card details! :)

Card 1 (above)
This card is created with stamps and dies by Altenew. I love these bamboo roses! I've colored the flowers in with Copics, die cut them, adhered them to black card base and added a simply stamped sentiment and a couple of sequins. I've added wink of stella to the leaves and some white gel pen to the roses.

I'd like to join:

Stamping Sensations: One for the Girls

Card 2 (below)
This one layer card is created with two snowflake stamp sets by CAS-ual Fridays. These snowflakes were my favorite for Christmas cards last year and I'm very pleased with this card so it looks like I keep loving them! I used Memento and Altenew inks for stamping.

With this card I'd like to join:

Our guest designer this time is Sue and I love the fun hot air balloon card she created for us. Thanks for joining LIM, Sue!

New Challenge at Inkspirational!

Hi friends!
We have a new, fun challenge for you at Inkspirational:

As always, our DT has made several inspiring samples for you, don't miss any of them, click HERE! This time the wonderful Sarah, one of my favorite bloggers and a DT buddy at Less Is More, is our guest designer, yay! Welcome to Ink, Sarah!

I immediately thought about children playing when I saw our word prompt and was then inspired in a couple of ways:

*First I had a good play with Brushos and white acrylic paint to create a background -to me splattering is as close to child like playing I know! :)

*I also love to color in, which is something kids also like to do... Hence the word "color" in my sentiment. :)

I've die cut the Concord & 9th heart twice -once from the brusho sheet I made and once from white, square card. I've created the pattern with the two pieces. It was actually not at all fiddly or time consuming because I for once remembered to use Stick It to back my pieces before die cutting them!

I left this without embellies -I was thinking it could be a good Valenitine's card for example and not so many guys are into sequins and stuff. :)

Hope you like and thanks for popping by!

Time Out Challenges Reminder!

Hi friends!
I'm here to remind you of our current challenge at TIME OUT:

A fun and easy one for you this time! We are sponsored by Uniko and the winner receives a stamp set of their choice from Uniko store. In my card I've used stamps from Uniko set English Country Garden - Butterflies. All of our DT has been playing with Uniko stamps -don't miss any of the inspiration, click HERE!

My card is fairly simple. I've stamped the butterflies with Memento ink and colored them with Copics. I added Wink of Stella details and white gel pen details. I splattered some black and gold paint on top for extra interest and shine. I die cut a square from the right top corner (die by Marianne Design) and popped it up with fun foam for extra dimension. Couple of sequins finish off the card.

Hope you like and thanks for popping by!

New Challenge at Less Is More!

Hi friends!
We have a new, fun challenge for you at Less Is More. We ask you to bring something back -to use something that you've not used on your cards in ages / something that is out of fashion or dig out
older stash items that you haven't played with anymore.

Happy Little Stampers continues as our April sponsor, play along for a change to win!

There's plenty of DT inspiration in our challenge blog HERE. Our guest designer this time is the wonderful Cara who made such a cute card for us with some older, adorable bunny stamps... Don't miss it! Also Sue is joining us as guest designer with the first stamp she ever bought! How cool is that! Thank you Cara and Sue for joining us in this challenge.

I've made a super simple card using a magazine freebie stamp from years back + a moroccan pattern background stamp from Stamping Up, also several years old. I've added color to the stamped square image with distress inks (the image is heat embossed so it resisted ink), used Wink of Stella on the butterfly and also splattered some white paint on top. The sentiment is by STAMPlorations and not old or neglected! :) I've popped the stamped square up with fun foam for dimension and added a couple of sequins for additional sparkle.

I was inspired by:

Splattering... This is my second entry, I splatter a lot these days! :) Please click the photo larger to see the subtle white paint splatters.

Stamping Sensations: One for the Girls
This is a very feminine card, isn't it!

Thanks for popping by and I hope to see you playing along!

New Challenge at Inkspirational!

Hi friends!
I'm here with my DT card for our new challenge at Inkspirational. The next fortnight we are going to be inspired by this photo:

Quite an unique photo! I chose the grey color and was also inspired by the windows. Also my flower has a somewhat similar shape than an umbrella has if you really use your imagination! :)

The grey card base is splattered with white paint. The window is cut with a MFT window die (thank you Milla for letting me to borrow this!) and I backed it with vellum with a heat embossed white sentiment. I added a stamped, die cut Altenew flower, some clear drops, and called it ready! A very simple card. Hope you like!

I'm very glad the wonderful Anita is our guest designer! Love her style... And it might look like I copied her card idea but you must believe me when I tell you I saw her card after making mine! So it was a "great minds think alike"- type of situation. :) Click HERE for all the DT inspiration.... And after admiring everyone's cards, happy crafting!

I'd like to join:
(I used a delicate, springy bloom!)

AAA Cards: Favorite Technique
My favorite technique for the last 1 or 2 months has been splattering... I splatter all my cards! :)

(I hope you'll agree this soft flower has a springy look!)

Time Out Challenges Reminder!

Hi guys!
I'm here with my reminder card for the current Time Out Challenge where we are inspired by this gorgeous, sunny, springy photo:

There's so many ways to be inspired here! I went with the color palette, the moroccan feel of the pattern in the vase + stripes in the napkins. The mandala stamp is an oldie and goodie by PTI and I think the die was a thank you gift from Winnie and Walter -I'm not 100 % sure about that though. I die cut the sentiment 4 times -twice from black card and twice from blue card and stacked the sentiments together for dimension. The mandala is heat embossed with white powder on a rectangle cut with a Marianne Design die. I embellished the card with sequins and called it ready. :)

Our design team has plenty of inspiration for you HERE. This time our guest designer is a former DT member and one of my favorite bogland crafters, Sarah. Great to have you joining us, Sarah! The sponsor of this challenge is Altenew and who wouldn't want to win a voucher to their shop... Play along for a chance to win!

Thanks for popping by and happy crafting!

I'd like to enter:
Pixie's Snippets Playground #323: snippets of yellow, blue and black card along with a snippet of vellum used here! :)
Stamping Sensations: One for the Girls (I think this color palette + the lacey look of the mandala make this card very suitable for a female recipient!)
CAS-Ual Fridays Challenge: Spring Fever (I hope you think this color combo is as springy as I think it is!)
