New Challenge at Time Out!

Hello friends!

I'm here with my DT card for the new Time Out Challenge where we have a photo for you to be inspired by! There's so much to draw inspiration from in this photo and we look forward seeing your creations. Please head on forward to our challenge blog for all the challenge details and lots of more DT inspiration. Our winner wins a voucher to Doodlebug store and also gets called to guest design in a future challenge. This time our GD is the very talented Toni from Frankie Helps Craft. Do leave her some love!

In my card I was inspired by the wreath and the yellow flowers. I've done quite a bit of stamping with some simple masking with stamps from Create a Smile. I've colored the images with Copics, added some white gel pen and some gems... And that's the card! Oh I did draw a frame with a multiliner. I love this look and should remember to do it more often lol!

New Challenge at Time Out!

Hi friends!

I'm here with my DT card for Time Out Challenges where we have a very inspirational quote for you for the next fortnight:

“It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.” —Charles Dickens, Great Expectations

Remember you can be inspired by the whole quote or just choose one word / some words as your starting point. Please head on over to our challenge blog for lots of more DT inspiration and all the challenge details!

I was inspired by the overall Spring theme, sun and light/shade. Tulips are THE spring flower for me... So that was an obvious choice. The current Stay Crafty With Hero Arts challenge is called "Somewhere over the rainbow" and that took my mind from sun to a rainbow! I chose grey card for my stenciling and tulip image to bring in the "shade" aspect from our Time Out. The HA stencil is called Daisy Mosaic and for the flower I used Tulip Bouquet stamp and die + coloring stencils. I finished the card with some paint splatters (they add light!) and gems. The sentiment I had ready in my scraps and it fits the Spring theme very well I think.

New Challenge at Inkspirational!

Hi friends!

We have a new fun challenge at Inkspirational with a 'Numbers' word prompt. I have some number dies I could have used... But I just didn't find a fun way! So in the end I went with a stamped numbers background.

If you are familiar with this Waffle Flower flower stamp that I used as my focal point then you know there actually is a miniature lady relaxing in the center of the flower... This time I decided to hide her with butterflies and sequins. Would you have guessed something is hidden there if I hadn't told you? I've used rose gold embossing powder for heat embossing my images and water colored the images with  DIY shimmer water colors: I mixed some perfect pearls powder and some inks on acetate and went to town. The shimmer is really subtle but it is there -the powder actually changed the ink colors a little bit so this was a fun experiment!

Please head on over to our challenge blog for all the challenge details and lots of more DT inspiration.

New Challenge at Time Out!

Hi friends!
I'm here with my DT card for our new challenge at Time Out where we challenge you to be Elegant! All the challenge details and plenty of DT inspiration in our challenge blog HERE. Play along and you could win a fabulous prize from our sponsor Altenew... And our winner  is also called to guest design in a future challenge. This time our GD is the very talented Nora Noll! You all know me as Nonni but my real name is actually Nora... So I'm happy to have another Nora joining us this time! :)

In my card I've gold heat embossed very elegant florals from Vintage Garden stamp set. I've water colored the images with Altenew 12 pan water color set. After watercoloring them I decided I really wanted them to pop from a dark background... So I masked them and sponged the background with black ink. I've added some paint splatters and a die cut sentiment (from Seasonal Blooms die set, also by Altenew) to finish off my card design.

Thank you for popping by and I hope to see you joining us!
