Time Out Challenge Reminder!

Hi guys!
I'm here with a DT card for our current challenge at Time Out Challenges where we challenge you to be:

We are sponsored by Winnie and Walter and our DT has had great fun creating with their stamps and dies. Thank you for your generosity, Winnie and Walter! Our winner will win a $25 coupon to their store.

I've made a one layer card with a wildly skiing bear from the wilderness. :) I love the inspiration behind this card (a card by my friend Milla, thanks for letting me CASE you Milla!) but I did to rock with the execution this time... My masking between the snowbank and skies looks weird and I did some masking mistakes even with the bear and the sky... I tried to fix with a Copic marker (look at his belly!) but didn't have a good shade... And I managed to drop a giant amount of white paint to the middle of the card, hence the enamel dots (I do like them though so that was a happy accident!). I hope to re-do this card design and post it another time, let's see when that happens! The bear is colored with Copics and the sky is created with distress inks and white paint. If this card wouldn't be such a mess I'd love it! :)

I hope you'll now head on over to our blog for more DT inspiration. One of the most entertaining card bloggers and talented card makers in bogland, Darnell, is our GD this time. Welcome to Time Out, Darnell! I love Darnell's funny way of writing her posts and her cards are amazing. If you for some insane reason would not know her and her blog, you are in for a treat!

Happy crafting, everyone!

Oi tää on ihana! Enkä olisi taaskaan huomannut "virheitä", ellet olisi sanonut (eikä ne sanomisenkaan jälkeen näytä virheiltä!). Kiitos, kun CASEsit! :)

Such fantastic sponging and masking. Really gives your focal point so much extra punch.

We are always our own worst critics, aren't we?! I can't see this "mess" you are talking about at all - your card looks like perfection to me. I love the inked, angled strip - it really focuses the bear - love it - I may also have to CASE this design ;) The enamel dots remind me of snowballs :) Love this card!

This card looks flawless to me, I absolutely love the layout with the masking of the winter sky and those enamel dots look so natural in these scene.

This is a very lovely card - a wild bear made me smile. You made a very beautiful blending for the background. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. - Sweet Kobylkin

Well, if this card is wrought with mistakes, I certainly can not see them. I love it, and to me, it is beautifully done. I am wild about that little happy bear... xxx

Hellunen nalle-kortti:) Kiitos kun kurkkasit mikä hätä minulla kortin postituksen suhteen. Kyse oli juuri kuten arvelitkin ruksista jonka laitoin vasta äsken ja jopa pelitti.

I love it! And every time I try to splatter I get a great big blob somewhere. Great save with the enamel dot!
