Happy Birthday Sandie!

Hi friends!

I'm here today to share a birthday card I made for my good friend Sandie. Happy birthday hon! Sandie likes purples and pinks so these were the obvious color choices for her card!

This SSS flower is colored in with polychromos pencils. I don't own them (yet!!!) but I got to try them from my friend Milla when she was visiting a couple of weeks ago. I LOVED coloring in with the pencils and I think I did pretty well considering this was my first attempt with them ever! Since i already had the flower pre-colored this card came together very fast. I wanted to add some black for contrast and make a simple card for Sandie's CAS loving heart! The stitched fishtail dies come from MFT.

I'd like to enter:
That's Crafty Challenges:  A Stitch in Time (2nd entry)
Penny Black and More: Anything Goes (2nd entry)
Stamping Sensations: Close to Nature (2nd entry)
AAA Cards: Inspired by Nature

(the fishtails were cut from snippets and also the flowers were stamped and cut out of left over pieces of coloring paper!)

  9. Gorgeous card and you already coped brilliantly with the polychromos pencils. I adore mine - and a touch of Sansodor solution to blend with right at the end is handy. I personally don't think your gorgeous colouring needs it at all.
