New Challenge at Time Out!

 Hello friends!

I'm here with a quick post with my DT card for our new challenge at Time Out! We are inspired by a fabulous nature photo:

This challenge is sponsored by Poppystamps with a $15 coupon to their store. Our winner will also be called to guest design for us in a future challenge. This time we welcome the very talented Lisa Elton joining us. Do not miss any of the challenge details or DT inspiration, click HERE!

In my card I was inspired by the trees in the photo. I used a Penny Black stamp, distress inks and water to stamp this sort of artsy CAS woodland scene. Hope you like and thank you for popping by!

New Challenge at Time Out!

Hi friends!

We have a new challenge for you at Time Out. This time it's one of our Inspired by Words challenges and the quote is really cute, "happiness is a warm puppy"! You can be inspired by the whole sentiment or choose just one word or some words for your starting point.

This challenge is sponsored by Newton's Nook. Our winner also gets called to guest design in a future challenge and this time the winner is the amazing Åsa, one of our regular players! Do not miss any of the challenge details or DT inspiration, click HERE!

In my card I've used a Penny Black stamp as a focal point. I've colored my pups with copics. The background is made with "ink smooshing" technique -I've pressed inks on acetate, spritzed it with water and "stamped" with it. I've also used an anchor stencil by STAMPlorations and stenciled anchors with white pigment ink. The sentiment means happy birthday in Finnish. Hope you like and thank you for popping by!

Card for Challenges!

Hi guys!

I'm here sharing a quick card I've made for some challenges in mind. The stamped image is by Waffle Flower Crafts and I so so love it! I've colored it with Copic markers. I used a beautiful mini slimline die by Crealies to frame my flowers and added black paint splatters and gold half pearls as embellies. The sentiment is a sticker and says "hugs" in Finnish language. The challenges I'm entering are:

Stamping Sensations: stamp something for spring

We Love Stamping: Anything (stamped) spring)

Thank you for popping by!

New Challenge at Time Out!

Hi friends!

Our new challenge at Time Out begins today and we challenge you to be Cute! Very appropriately Lawn Fawn sponsors this challenge -they have tons of cute stamps in their store. Make sure to head on over to the challenge blog for all the challenge details and more DT inspiration! Our winner will be called to guest design for us and this time we are thrilled to have talented Sue Symens joining us.

In my card all the stamps, dies and stencils are by Waffle Flower Crafts apart from the sentiment stamp which is by Altenew. The background shape I cut freehand from masking paper -I've been wanting to try this kind of background type for a while so I'm glad I finally had a go with it! I've colored the images with Copics and used Altenew and Distress inks for the background.

Thank you for popping by and I hope to see joining us at Time Out!

New Challenge at AAA Birthday!

Hi friends!

I'm here with my DT card for the new challenge at AAA Birthday where the theme for the month of March is Under the Sea! Please remember we only allow birthday cards. :) In my card I've combined two digital elements: a background by Alex Syberia and turtles from Varada Sharma. My sentiment is by Stampendous. I've colored the turtles with Copics, masked them, and added a couple of distress ink shades to the background. I've splattered some water and paint on top for even more "under the sea" feel! Hope you like and thank you for popping by. I look forward seeing your cards in the gallery!

8th Birthday Special Challenge at Time Out!

Hi friends!

I'm here with my DT card for our new challenge at Time Out. This will be a very special fortnight: we are celebrating our 8th birthday with a special challenge! We have EIGHT sponsors and also 4 of our former designers are joining us in the fun. Please do not miss any of the inspiration or any challenge details, click HERE.

In my card I'm using a digital image by one of our sponsors, Alex Syberia. I've colored the image with Copics and that's basically all there is to this card -this card panel fills the card front completely and does all the design work for you! :) I've simply added a Happy Birthday sentiment and that's all there is to this card design. Oh some paint splatters, yes! Never forget paint splatters! :)

Now it's your turn to take Time Out and craft! Thank you for popping by! xx

My projects:

Card 1

Happy Belated Birthday

This was a simple, quick card, made with Count Me In digital stamp set!  I colored the image with Copics, added some gel pen details, matted it on black card and called it ready! :)

Card 2
Friendships Refresh the Soul

In this card I used the both floral images available in the Truly Inspire Digital Stamp set and combined them with a sentiment from Refresh the Soul set. I was in a mood for a slimline card so I wanted to use more than one image. This was not a very quick make!! I've colored the flowers with Copics and pencils.  The black outline frame I've drawn myself with a ruler and Renaissance drawing pen (they are pretty much like Copic fine liners).

Close up of the second card:

I wish you a wonderful hop, you are going to find lots and lots of inspiration along the way, I'm sure! Happy hopping!
