Altenew Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop happening at TIME OUT!

Hi friends!
TIME OUT Challenges is very proud to be taking part of Altenew Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop. All the details of this blog hop can be found in TIME OUT Challenge blog here so do head on over there for more information about how to play along and how to have a chance to win amazing prizes!

I made two cards to celebrate this blog hop and I absolutely love how both of them turned out!

In my first card I used the Beautiful Day stamp set. I skipped using the layering stamps and only used the outline image which I then colored in with Copics. In the leaf image I also used the detail layering stamp for the green... And for the smaller flower stamps I went only with black and white stamping. The flower arrangement was sort of floating on air so I masked it off and sponged some yellow DI behind it for grounding -I think it did work. The sentiment is also by Altenew, from Ori-Kami stamp set.

Please click this photo larger for a more detailed look of the coloring and other details! :)

In my second card I used flower stamps from Peony Bouquet stamp set. I used all the layering stamps with a white heat embossed outline. I like the way the stamping and heat embossing looks on patterned paper. The color combo of blues and grey is also quite nice I think.

  1. These are just amazing Nonni. I love the colouring of the grey. I think it looks better than the layered stamping, so much details and depth to it. Plus the soft yellow around the stamp is the perfect colour combo. Stamping on the patterened paper really shows how versatile your creativity is and also showcases these stamps in a way many may have not thought of using the stamps. A Time Out DT star!!

  7. The yellow glow is a beautiful touch to the grey shaded flower, it really looks wonderful. I also love the look of stamping onto DP, I like paper piecing but tend to forget other options involving stamping on DP.
