Hi friends!
I'm here with my DT card for the current Inkspirational challenge where my wonderful DT friend Sandie has chosen us a theme:
One of my faves! I often go very CAS with one layers but this time I wanted to fill almost my whole card base with a stenciled design. The fun, funky deer with almost tribal looking details is from a stamp set I got last Christmas from Gerrina. It's my first time using this stamp and I think I'll make many more Christmas cards with it this year -I love how this turned out! I only colored his horns this time (I used Copics) but I so want to do the whole image with some cool non-traditional Christmas colors... I love all the detail in this stamp. Thank you so much, Gerrina! The stencil I used is from STAMPlorations and the sentiment is super old by SSS.
I hope to see you playing along! Don't miss any other DT inspiration and challenge details, click HERE.

Nonni! You forgot to add this to the Inkspirational Blog post! But never mind, I've done it for you. This is a beautiful card -I love how you've stencilled the background.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous background and love that deer - thanks for joining the Merry Christmas Challenge.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blending, Nonni ... and such a cool deer ... yep, he's definitely funky ... and fabulous! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely! That background is really bold... how did you add color around that stencil? Spraying it on or dabbing it? Really expert look. And of course the reindeer is so fun for a nontraditional Christmas card!
