Hi guys!
I'm here to remind you of our current TIME OUT Challenge where we are CASEing Ksenija's card:
As you can see I was so inspired I made two CAS card designs, really loved the inspiration Ksenija provided for us!
The sentiment stamps in both of my cards comes from Happy Little Stampers. Happy Little Stampers
is sponsoring this challenge with a 15 $ voucher for their shop for the winner. Do not hesitate to play along!
In my first card I've used a stencil by STAMPlorations. I just purchased this in December and have been using it several times already! I love the graphic look of this card. If you click Ksenija's card larger you can see that she did some tone on tone stamping on her card base and this really drew my eye. I also love the way she stamped her leaves on an angle and followed this layout in both of my card. The big leaves on my second card are made with a SSS stencil. The stamped flowers are from an old PTI set and I just stamped them pretty randomly. The ribbon tries to mimic the red strip Ksenija heat embossed on the corner of her white panel in the card.
Now I hope you'll head on over to have a look of the inspiration our talented GD Marjan and the TO design team has provided for you in our blog HERE. Then it's your turn to take TIME OUT and craft!
The challenges I'm entering:
card 1
card 2
Thanks for popping by!
Really like how you followed through the stencil from the card to the base. And super idea to use the ribbon. I like the pops of colour in the second also x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards. Awesome stenciling on the first one.
ReplyDeleteCool and graphic first card, Nonni, those geometrics are delicious ... and such a pretty florals! Fabulous how you saw two such different cards in Ksenija's inspiration! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteThink I like the first a bt better; just because it is beautiful graphic..., nut both are such beautiful case-cards! Hugs, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely LOVE your design here Nonni with the stenciling!! So glad to have your beautiful CAS designs in the STAMPlorations gallery as well!! Your second card is so pretty! I love the images you've used with the colors! :) HUGS
ReplyDeleteI so love both of these cards, Nonni. The first one is especially fabulous in that you concentrated on the diagonal and carried it all the way to the edges of the card base. I love the way the sentiment is equally on either side of the "line. Absolutely fantastic! Live the leaves and flowers as well on the second one, and that stitched ribbon is a lovely touch.
ReplyDeleteNonni both of your cards are gorgeous! I love the modern graphic shapes and clean lines of the first, and the pretty little flowers on the second. So glad you joined us this week at The Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteNonni, both of your cards are beautiful, but you really kept our CAS challenge, CAS and it's simple and sweet. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players this week! Crystal, DT
ReplyDeleteLove that you were inspired to make two cards. They are both awesome.
ReplyDeleteLove both cards, Nonni!! The first one has such a modern look, the second one so fresh looking with that beautiful stamping and ribbon!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed being your guestdesigner!
Wow that stencilling on your first card is amazing - so bold. Fabulous cas card. Great take on the second one casing Ksenija's card. Thanks for joining in for our CAS January Challenge over at STAMPlorations Nonni.
ReplyDeleteTwo absolutely fabulous cards Nonni! Love how you did the stencil on the first one.
ReplyDeleteLove how your stencil extends on the background panel too! Thanks for joining in at Stamplorations CAS!
ReplyDeleteYour two cards inspired by the one and same card look so different. Your stenciling bad layering on the first is do effective, impressive to see what can be made using just a stencil and a sentiment stamp! Your second one has a great spring feel. Nice touch adding the ribbon.
ReplyDeleteAbout the sentiment stamps be used lately, I don't know the brand as I got it as a gift from my sister and it was out of it's package, probably to make it fit into the gift box it was wrapped in. But I think I'm going to ask her next time I speak with her. Which will probably be tomorrow, we seem to be phoning each other daily at the mo. I like that. As for clean and simpler style I think both you and Marina have had an influence on me:) it's so inspiring to see how different our cards turn out with the kit swap...
Both cards are so pretty Nonni - I love how Ksenija's card inspired you in such different ways. That graphic stencil is so gorgeous - I can see why you are using it a lot - and I love how you have used it on this card - a simple design but so stunning! I love it and might try something similar myself :) Thanks for inspiring me!
