Hi guys!
I'm here to remind you of our current TIME OUT Challenge:
'Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart'
You can be inspired by the whole sentiment or just choose one word or a couple of words for your starting point.
Please click HERE for all the challenge details and inspiration from our amazing guest designer Karren and our DT members. Karren has great eye for wonderful designs with fun touches -don't miss her blog!
I'm using my new My Favorite Things Thanks-sentiment die in my card for the first time. I've colored it with Copics and added some sparkle with Stickles (I'm out of Wink of Stella... Shocker!!) For the background I created an ink strip with Black Soot DI and Prima background stamp. My stamping is done with water so "Ghosting technique" is in action in this card. :) I added a couple of die cut hearts for finishing touch.
I'd like to play along at couple of challenges:
AAA Cards: Masculine
I used masking for the inked strip, stamping with water (ghosting) + die cutting, coloring with markers + glitter glue. Oh and sponging. For the strip. :)
Thanks for popping by! Have a great rest of the week everyone!
This is amazing! That background panel looks so textured and the pop of color is perfect. Thanks so much for all your help, Nonni!
ReplyDeleteCool, crisp and so stylish, Nonni ... the ghosting on the blended panel adds such a fab sense of dimension ... and I love those sweet hearts! Out of WoS ... eeek! I'm just trying out the Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen ... it's as delicious as the WoS ... a bit more shimmery, though the brush tip isn't as fine. Worth having though for that extra sparkle! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteLove the elegant feel of this card. Perfect Nonni!
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning card Nonni!! I love the gradient color of your sentiment and the strip panel and how it looks textured! Beautifully done! :) Hugs & Smiles - *Vicki*

P.S. I have made a project with those pieces you sent me...thank you!
That is so beautiful and simple in design. I just love the strip of gray. It's great how you lined up the gradient effect of the die cut with the ligher gray over the dark gray. Then the darker gray over the white area!! It's a great look!!
ReplyDeleteFantastic design Nonni. Your masked and ghosted panel is SO COOL!! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx
ReplyDeleteWonderful take on the sketch!
ReplyDeleteLove that ombre grey sentiment and how fabulous does it look against the grey textured strip! Thanks for playing at AAA Cards.

ReplyDeleteWhat a crisp design with the masked strip and the gradiant colors on your THANKS die cut - thanks for playing along with the CAS Mix up Challenge Nonni! Julia
ReplyDeleteBeautiful inking and beautiful layout! Great to see how so less colour can make a card "pop"! Enjoy the weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love this Nonni! Love your use of the masking with the ghosting techniques, and I love the grey ombre sentiment. The red hearts are the perfect popping finish!!!
ReplyDeleteLove how you combined 'thanks' and heart. And, the red and grey color scheme is so very pretty.
