New Challenge at Time Out!

Hi friends! It's time for a new challenge at Time Out! This time it is a photo inspiration where you can for example see an amazingly cute bag (i just love that fabric!!) that our DT member Kim has made. We are letting you know about her amazing store RunningStitchDesign and you could win the bag in the photo if you are DT's favorite!! I hope to see you all playing along!

We are enjoying of creativity of two guests this time: Nathalie/Wonderingwabbit shares her amazing pencil art with us and Sandie, co-founder, design team member and former super leader of Time Out is joining us as well with her always stylish CAS style! Good times!

In my card I was inspired by the abstract looking "blob of color" in the middle of the bag -somehow it reminded me of a feather! I used two feathers that I had die cut from a watercolored panel. I used baby blue base which in the photo looks very dark... But I assure you it's more closer to the colors of the photo IRL! This photo has a lot to do with creativity so this Altenew sentiment seemed perfect, heat embossed with white powder. Hope you like and thanks for popping by!

Time Out Challenges Participating in Altenew Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop with 12 Challenge Blogs

Hi friends!

I'm here today with a very special post... Time OUT Challenges is participating in Altenew Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop and I had the joy and honor to create two cards for the post! Please have a look at the post at Time Out Challenges to learn how you can take part in the fun!

I created two cards for the post using Altenew products.

Card 1
The background is Brusho and I had super fun making it! I simply sprinkled couple of shades of brushos to the background and created bursts of color with spraying water on top. The Scalloped Ornament stamp is stamped on Neenah, colored with Copics and Altenew Markers and die cut with co-ordinating die. I added some white gel pen, white paint splatters and gold sequins for finishing touches. The sentiment stamps come from Seasonal Blooms set. To make the flower portion of the card pop even more, I die cut a rectangle out from the background and popped it up on foam for more dimension.

Using Scalloped Ornaments stamps and dies, Seasonal Blooms stamps and dies, Nesting Slim Rectangles Die Set

Card 2
This card took a while to make due to the coloring of the large image... But then again there was not much else to do! I loved how it turned out. This one is colored solely with Altenew Markers.

Using Simply Spring stamp set and sentiment die from Seasonal Blooms die set

Please head on over to Time Out blog for all the hop details!

With these cards I'd like to play along:

I'm here with a simple CAS birthday card for the August Challenge at  AAA Birthday Card Challenge. This month we are sponsored by the fabulous digital stamps company Varada Sharma and I'm using their cute Lotus image in my card, colored with Copics. The challenge itsef is a photo inspiration:

I was inspired in a very literal way, I went with the flower theme and color scheme of the photo!

Please head on over to our challenge blog for all the challenge and prize details along with plenty of  inspiration from our guest designer Rachelle and our DT members! Do remember that we look for birthday themed cards that are inspired by the photo below. I look forward seeing you play along! Happy crafting!
