Time Out Challenges Reminder!

Hi guys!
I'm here to remind you of our current challenge at TIME OUT

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps sponsors us in this challenge with a $25 voucher to their store, woo hoo! Play along for a chance to win!

I remembered this W+9 Christmas set I had with warm clothing and a warm greeting... And decided to make a Christmas card! I just counted and I've only made 8 Christmas cards this year... It's not too many considering I tend to send around 50. I have to step up my game!!! My cars is very simple: I simply Copic colored the image, covered a card base with patterned paper and used a die cut Penny Black rectangle to mount my main image. I sponged a  snowbank and a light blue sky behind the image for extra interest.

Our GD this time is the talented Marieke, don't miss her fab card and the inspirational work of our DT, click HERE!

New Challenge at Less Is More!

Hi friends!

We have a new fun challenge for you at Less Is More:

I had a bit more time on my hands finally and got to create two cards for your inspiration... Hopefully you'll like them! For more ideas by our fabulous design team, click HERE. This time Skye is our guest designer and I love the die cuts she used in her card! Great to have you joining in, Skye! Uniko continues as our June sponsor.

Card 1, Christmas (above)
In my first card all the W+9 die cuts are from my "bits" box... And so is the die cut white rectangle, already pre-stamped with a Finnish "Merry Christmas"-sentiment! All I did was adding some Wink of Stella to the pinecones and berries, glued everything together and assembled the card... Very fast and easy!

With this card I'd like to enter:
Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge: Inspiration photo (I chose the colors red, green and brown + branches)

Spring has been so busy I've completely forgot about this challenge... Thank you Trina for reminding me!!

Card 2, Ocean (below)
In my second card I used some pre-made Brusho water colored card + pre- Copic colored and pre-die cut starfish, all from the "bits" box. I die cut the Brusho card with my favorite edge die (Lil'Inker) and assembled the card. The sentiment is from a set I got from my crafting buddy Jill when she visited Finland about a month ago! I love the simplicity of the sentiments in this set.

New Challenge at Inkspirational!

Hi friends!
We have a new challenge for you at Inkspirational and I'm really excited about this one... I got to chose the topic and I chose "small stamps". I think so often we forget the smaller stamps in our sets and just use the big ones! I hope you'll enjoy this topic and will play along. More DT inspiration from our design team members and a fabulous cactus card from our GD Valerie HERE

My card is inspired by the sketch and CASE This Sketch and the colors of Color Throwdown. I just stamped small PTI flowers with pastel ink colors, following the sketch, super simple! I did want some extra detail so I die cut a curve with a Lil'Inker die. The sentiment is actually a sticker that I've popped up with fun foam. I finished off the card with a couple of rhinestones. Hope you like and thanks for popping by!

Time Out Challenges Reminder!

Hi friends!
I'm here to remind you of our current Time Out Challenge:

As you can definitely see from my card photo I did not go with the twist this time! :) I used a fantastic floral Christmas stamp by W+9 stamps (thanks Milla!!!). The border die I used also comes from W+9 collections. Sentiment, simply stamped, by CAS-ual Fridays stamps. I've colored my flowers with Copics and added LOTS of detail with white and gold gel pens and with a black fine liner pen. This did take quite a long time to color in... I was listening to music and managed to go through the complete Ein Deutsches Requiem by Brahms and a bunch of Chopin Nocturnos... but I did enjoy the process!

Our sponsor this time is Seven Hills Crafts, such a cool sponsor, we are very happy about Tara sponsoring us! Play along for a chance to win!

Card for Challenges!

Hi friends!
I'm here to share a card I made just for fun for challenges. My summer holidays have begun and I'm looking forward creating lots of cards this summer!

I was inspired by the sketch at CASE the Sketch. Really loved everyone's takes on this sketch and wanted to join. I created a background with brushos and shiny ink sprays and it has wonderful sheen and shine -unfortunately you can't see any of this in the photo... My flower is by Altenew and I've colored it with Copics and added lots of detail with black, gold and white pens + wink of stella. Hope you like!

I'd also like to join:

Stamping Sensations: Anything Goes (1st entry)

Penny Black and More: In the Garden (1st entry)

The Flower Challenge: Pick a previous challenge. I picked "Use your favorite flower". I absolutely love this flower stamp by Altenew!

New Challenge at Less Is More!

Hi friends!
I'm here with my DT car for our new challenge at Less Is More:

As always, our DT has made wonderful samples for you HERE. In our challenge blog your also find all the info about how to play along and how to have a chance to win a prize from our June sponsor, Uniko! Uniko owner and designer Bev is also joining us as guest designer. Yay!

In my card I've used stamps by My Favorite Things and Echo Park (the bg stamp). I was a bit hesitant with this being CAS enough due to the bg which is a little bit busy and covers 2/3 of the card... But after softly inking part of it behind the bear the rest of the bg seemed to "pull back" a little bit. Also since it's heat embossed with white you clearly see it only when tilting the card in your hand... What do you guys think, CAS or not? I hope CAS!!! :) The bear is colored in with Copics and the sentiment is also heat embossed with white.

Thanks for popping by and I hope to see you joining us!

New Challenge at Inkspirational!

Hi friends!
I'm here encouraging you to join our latest challenge at Inkspirational:

So, a fun word prompt for you this time!
I went with two powerful things: a bear and a hug! :)

I was also inspired the current color challenge at MFT card challenges:

Loved these soft pastel colors!

I was also inspired by their previous Sketch Challenge (already closed):

All stamps and dies in my card are by MFT stamps. I've colored the images with Copics, added wink of stella and white gel pen and made a super simple scene with the images.

For more Inkspirational DT inspiration click HERE. We are very pleased to have the talented Angie joining us at guest designer this time! I hope to see you joining us, happy crafting!

STAMPlorations 5th Birthday Event!

Hi everyone!
Welcome to join the 5th Birthday of STAMPlorations! I'm delighted to be joining the STAMPlorations inspiration team in this special event where there's over $500 worth of prizes to be won!

For a chance to win, what I'd love you to do is to comment this post... And for even more chances to with, CASE one of the cards in this post and link your card up HERE!!

Let's have a look at my cards:

Card 1 (above)
Here I've used cupcake stamps from Happy Everything and Make a Wish die. I've colored the cupcakes in with Copics and added details with Stickles glitter glue + white gel pen. The stitched rectangle die is also by STAMPlorations, Crazy Double Running Stitched Nesting Dies. The sentiment die is cut from black card and adhered to the card. I used Stick It adhesive which in my opinion is a must for adhering intricate die cut shapes, I highly recommend it!

With this card I'd like to join:

AAA Cards: The 4th Big Birthday Bash

CAS-Ual Fridays Challenge: Birthday Celebration

Card 2 (below)
The wonderful sentiment die used here is called Celebrate Big. I've also used a STAMPlorations stencil called Stained Glass -my favorite stencil of all time! I used two shades of DI:s for sponging the stenciled design. I die cut a circle from dry embossed card and adhered the die cut sentiment on top of it -again I've backed my black card with Stick It before die cutting... Makes life easy! :) The circle is popped up for some extra dimension.

With this card I'd like to join:

So, there they are, my two simple cards to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of STAMPlorations! Congratulations Shery and all STAMPgirls! Thanks for letting me to join in the party!
