Hi guys!
We have a new challenge for you at Inkspirational:
I was a bit lost what to do with this word prompt... So in the end I just decided to attach as many things on top of each other I could think of. :) I love making cards with tags and found the perfect sketch for inspiration from Fusion Card Challenges. I cut my die cuts and vellum strip from snippets so I can play along at Pixie's Snippets Playground weeks 317 & 318 too. The tag coloration is created with Brushos and water and I love the ombre looked I achieved. I'm naturally then playing along at Addicted to CAS: Ombre and I think my colors are pretty cold so I'm playing along at AAA Cards: Chilled too!
I hope to see you playing along at Inkspirational! Don't miss any of the other DT cards and challenge details, click HERE.
Oh I adore this card. You really rock with the tag cards-I spotted nothing on the hole and I always think I have to add something and usually add an enamel dot as bows I can't tie...but I think it looks great without anything-thanks for the idea. And what a cool die-love the little stitches on it. Plus that rich blue-one stunning card Nonni-mojo is flying x
ReplyDeleteThis is a great card and a fun way to interpret the word challenge! I never now what to do with tags on my cards, but you totally made it work with this stand-out blue tag! Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteI am doing well! Nothing really new going on. Just keeping up with life! Hope you are well!

Perfect Nonni! Fabulous chilly blues and a contrasting icy white bloom all kept perfectly CAS with the use of that tag. Thanks for joining in with the AAA Cards Chilled Challenge.
ReplyDeleteWow Nonni - what a stunning card! So elegant and a gorgeous design altogether. I can see we have another great talent in the Playgound :)

This is quite lovely! The colors of the blue tag make a perfect background for those simple white floral sprigs. Eye-poppingly beautiful! Thanks for playing along with us at Fusion!
ReplyDeleteA great approach to the challenge and so pretty . I really admire you being able to layer in a cas way.
ReplyDeleteWOW - lovely vibrant and striking card. xxx
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely GORGEOUS card, Nonni! I love your subtle ombre effect on the tag and how you added the sprig of blooms and vellum sentiment strip! You did an amazing job combining all these challenges, too...Love this beautiful card!

Beautiful card Nonni! Love the colours of your brushos tag. So pretty with the vellum sentiment banner and die-cut flower. xx
ReplyDeleteNonni, I commented already on Instagram, and I am happy to see your gorgeous creation in our gallery at AAA Cards Challenge. Love not only the blue colour you achieved, but also the texture Brushos are giving to paper. - Sweet Kobylkin
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful card and a beautiful photo, Nonni! It's very strong in its simplicity and in my opinion, a winner in all these challenges!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteLots of layers but still so clean and crisp, well done! I do love this blue color of the tag too.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully ombre-d, Nonni.
ReplyDeleteThis is so gorgeous Nonni. I love that blue background you used for the tag. Love the diecut and how it goes over the edges of the tag. I also love that embossing on the vellum. Beautiful, simple, fabulous.
ReplyDeleteOh and thanks for sharing this beauty at ATCAS!!
ReplyDeleteApologies for my late response; I headed to mom's on Jan. 19th, on a 'working' visit to mark diploma exams and arrived home yesterday. Long days...bleary eyes...but the after-hours time with my mom, niece and nephew: priceless! Your interpretation of the theme is ever so innovative and creative! Swooning over the lovely blue tag, the vellum sentiment and the pretty floral sprig! CAS-licious and gorgeous!
