Hi friends!
I'm here to remind you of our current challenge at Time Out, 'Different':
You might think I'm not being different here because I'm using my markers as always... But I'm not doing any complex shading! All marker coloring you see is just one layer and took no time at all! I also went for a CAS look which is also something I don't necessarily aim for these days, I just let me cards become as CAS or non-CAS as they end up... But this one I wanted to keep CAS for making sure I was being different from my usual cards!
I used a super fun Paisley patterns stamp set by our sponsor Funky Fossil. When this stamp set came out I knew I just had to have it: Paisley is one of my favorite patterns, I absolutely love it in men's shirts and in curtains/other furnishings. The shapes are just randomly stamped, then quickly colored and I added some patterned paper for extra detail -also different for me, I don't use pp too often! The sentiment (oldie from stash) is also simply stamped. I don't really like the way it looks but I didn't plan a proper place for the sentiment when stamping my patterns... So it looks a bit squished. Oh well. :)
Please head on over to our challenge blog for more DT inspiration and all the challenge details! Thanks for popping by!
I'd like to join:
Addicted to CAS: Shapes ( my shapes are Paisley and circles )
We Love Chocolate Baroque: I love...
CASology: Long (using strips of card stock/panels that are as long as the card base)
This is my kind of colouring but for you different but you still make it look fab. I like the pp at the side, adds a nice touch and the sentiment I like where it is, looks great x
