Hi friends!
I'm here to remind you of our current challenge at TIME OUT. We are being Inspired By Words:
A very popular challenge already and I hope you'll also join us! This challenge is sponsored by STAMPlorations. You could win a $15 coupon to their store!
In my card I've used a STAMPlorations stamp, Framed Dahlia, heat embossed with white on Bristol paper. I then sponged a wash of salmon colored DI on top. I begun watercoloring by removing some of the salmon ink from the flowers with a wet brush and then just watercolored several layers of DI:s without much planning or precision! The card base is covered with a brusho bg I had made earlier, it matched the colors of my watercoloring nicely. I completed the card with a die cut Winnie and Walter sentiment.
Now I hope you'll head on over to our challenge blog for more inspiration from our DT and talented guest designer Kristina. She is someone whose coloring skills are just mind-blowing!!! Thanks for popping by and happy crafting!
I'd like to enter:

DeleteWhat a beauty, that vibrant background really make the white shine through and doesn't steel the show, but it doesn't go unnoticed. Loving this whole design xx

Just so beautiful. Love the color scheme, and the lovely blending.
ReplyDeleteLove these colours - this has a fabulous artsy look.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic sense of depth in both the background and the floral panel, Nonni ... the crisp white is gorgeous against that lovely salmon-y orange! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw this, I thought the backgrund was done with alcohol inks because it is so bright and flowy - I can't believe it was Brusho-ed - it is so gorgeous! I love the way you paired it with the white embossed framed flowers - they go beautifully together.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Nonni - the brusho background is wonderful! Thanks for sharing with us at Stamping Sensations!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous creation, thanks for joining Penny Black & More @ Allsorts challenge, good luck.

The brusho background is so much more than ‘just a background’ or white space. It’s what makes this card look truly amazing.
