Hi friends!
I'm here to share a quick CAS card I made using W+9 Hello Sunshine dies, MFT frame die + Uniko sentiment, heat embossed with FANTASTIC Hero Arts white embossing powder. I purchased this embossing powder a couple of weeks ago and I tell you it beats all the other white embossing powders I've ever tried! Fantastic product. My original plan had no embellies, just the die cuts, but I had done bad job parting the cloud dies from their "strings" and the edge of the smaller cloud cut a small hole to my paper. The clear drops came to rescue... One looked a bit lonely so I gave her a friend too. :)
I'm entering:
Less is More : Spring Walk
Today there hasn't come anything from the sky yet but being a dog owner (I have a soon 3 years old schnauzer) I've experienced both rain and snow lately! Finnish spring is very unpredictable. :)
CAS Mix Up: Inlaid Die Cutting
My smaller cloud is inlaid to vary the dimension of the clouds even more. My own choices are "normal die cutting" + heat embossing the stamped sentiment + using clear drops.
This white HA embossing powder might me my favorite embossing powder ever! I need to try other colors of HA powders too!
Thanks for popping by and have wonderful Easter Sunday!
What a lovely card Nonni. Love all that stitching and the colours you have used. I'm on the lookout for a new embossing powder as mine isn't always crisp for sentiments so I shall give the HA one a try.
ReplyDeletePerfect, Nonni! I'm looking out the window at clouds threatening showers right now... happy Spring! :D Love the crisp, clean space of this card and sweet dies/border "stitching". Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a cool card and great for the LIM challenge

Gorgeous CAS card, love the sweet scene and the sentiment is perfect in white with this colour base
ReplyDeleteGorgeous CAS design indeed! Thanks for sharing with us at a2z.
ReplyDeleteWhite EPs aren't all of good quality, mine is an extra fine powder from Tim Holtz that I'm happy with but I've got a few I don't feel work for fine detailing. The little drops fit right in, like they were planned for.
ReplyDeleteFabulous card ... a true reflection of British Spring weather!

Such a gorgeous card, Nonni! I love the colors you used and seeing your card again with that beautiful border reminds me that I have yet to order for myself! I think (and hope) that snow is firmly in my rearview mirror now. Today the temps have soared to 83 Fahrenheit/28 Celsius making me wonder what happened to spring. :) It'll eventually return later this week but I can't complain about the warm temps, although my 11.5 year old mini schnauzer is not too crazy about it. She's been very mellow and reluctant to stay outside for too long.
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable, Nonni!! :) Brings a smile to my face. Great design, love the inlaid cloud and then the pop=ups. Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx
