New Challenge at AAA Birthday!

Hello friends!

I'm here with a new challenge for AAA Birthday where we are looking for your embossed birthday cards in December. I chose dry embossing in my card and used an Altenew embossing folder. I colored the embossed image using Copic markers and Altenew colored pencils. The sentiment is simply stamped with a sentiment from my stash -no idea of the maker! :)

This is sadly my last challenge as a DT member at AAA Birthday but the challenge continues with fabulous new topics again at 2023! I hope to see you playing along! Happy crafting. xx

New Challenge at Time Out!

Hello friends!
At Time Out we have the last challenge of 2023 for you, an easy and fun Winter/Holiday-theme!

We are proud to be sponsored by Newton's Nook. The are offering a whopping $25 coupon to our winner! Please head on over to our challenge blog for all the challenge details and more DT inspiration. Our guest designer this time is Sue and she has made a very cute CAS card for your inspiration. Don't miss it!

My card is one of the cards I made during Hero Arts Stamp Along a couple of weeks ago. The critters are Copic colored. The background is stenciled with pastes -unfortunately the glitter paste for snow doesn't show too well in the photo! Stamps, dies and stencil all by Hero Arts. Tiny heart die cuts are from my stash, no idea of their origin lol!

This challenge is sort of bitter sweet because we are saying goodbye to four long time DT members.

 Kim

They will all be very much missed... but luckily we are all friends by now and will surely keep in touch in the future too. I hope to see their work in blogland and IG in the future too because they are all simply stellar crafters. Thank you Jill, Joyce, Shauna and Kim!

So, now it's your turn to take Time Out and craft. I look forward seeing what you'll create. Happy crafting!

New Challenge at AAA Birthday!

Hi friends!

I'm here with my DT card for AAA Birthday Card Challenges where our theme for November is Monochrome.

I chose to work with shades of blue in my card and came up with a CAS design with feather dies from Gina K as focal point. I even went with a blue sentiment in stead of a black one to stay even more true to my monochrome blue palette! I've used distress inks for creating a little ombre panel where I die cut the feather... And then I also die cut it from navy card stock... And inlaid the ombre pieces.

Please head on over to our challenge blog for more DT inspiration and all the challenge details!

New Challenge at Time Out!

Hi friends!

I'm here with my DT card for Time Out Challenges where we for the next fortnight are inspired by these words:

Our DT has made stunning samples for you and is giving you lots of different ideas, please head on over to our challenge blog for all the challenge details and lots of inspiration. Our GD this time is Heather, she has created a beautiful scene in her stunning card.

In my card I concentrated on the "formidable", which is something huge or large as love -so I was told because the word is new to me lol! I decided to go with mountains and trees! :) The mountains are stenciled with a stencil cut with a Picket Fence slimline scene building mountains die and the trees and branches are by Penny Black. I struggle with cards like this and although this one has a lot that I like, it's also a bit of a mess! :) I used Stickles to highlight the mountains and white paint for "snow" for the branches and trees. All inking is done with distress inks, the sky turned out pretty I think!

Thank you for popping by and I hope to see you joining us!

New Challenge at Time Out!

Hi friends!

I'm here with my DT card for the new challenge at Time Out where we challenge you to be Thankful!

We are happy to be sponsored by Lawn Fawn! In addition to sponsor prize our winner also gets called to guest design in a future challenge. This time our GD is Deepti A, one of our regular players and a super card maker! Don's miss her card, challenge details or any DT inspiration, click HERE.

In my card I've used a Thank You- sentiment by PTI along with Hero Arts Looking Glass die Bird on a branch. I love these looking glass dies -they are surprisingly quick to create a card with and add so much detail and interest! I went with a brown/copper-pink color combo with the addition of green leaves of course... I always love copper and pink together!

Thanks for popping by and I look forward seeing what you'll make for us! xx

New Challenge at Time Out!

Hi guys!

I'm here with my DT card for our new challenge at Time Out where we want you to make your own background!

All the challenge details and lots of more DT inspiration HERE. Play along and you could get to be chosen as a future guest designer! This time our wonderful guest is the Hannelie, one of our regular players an and an amazing card artist.

My background is created with alcohol inks. I poured green and yellow ink along with a blending solution to my card stock and moved them around by bending the card around and also using a straw to blow the ink a bit. I made quite many backgrounds and this was the first one that looked bearable -I'm definitely still learning!! Also I need to experiment with different card stocks I think. The beautiful leaf die is by Penny Black and if I remember right, the sentiment is from some Altenew floral set.

Hope you like and thank you for popping by!

New Challenge at AAA Birthday!

Hi guys!
I'm here with my DT card for AAA Birthday where we have an easy challenge for you: Anything Birthday goes! We have a bunch of new DT members too so don't miss any of the inspiration, fun or challenge details, click HERE.

My card is a trifold card I learned to make in Hero Arts Spring Stamp Along a while back. The card focuses on using HA Looking Glass dies, this is the Birthday Party set. The set consists of three layers that you can use together or separately. In my card two of the die cut scenes are stacked together (on the second leaf of the card) and one is cut to the front leaf. The card base is made out of two standard size card bases stacked together. Hope all of that makes some sense! :) I've colored the images with Copics and stamped sentiments by Stampendous.

Hope you like and thank you for popping by!

More GD cards for Picket Fence Studios!

Hi friends!
I'm back with more GD cards for Picket Fence Studios July Release. The first one is a one layer scene card! It's been a while that I've made something like this. I used Slimline Tall Christmas Tree stencil and cut myself a mountain stencil with Scene Building dies: Mountains. I used a random circle die from my stash for the sun and finished the card with a sentiment from Fancy Life Events stamp set. The inks I used were mostly distress inks. I also splattered some white paint on top of the whole scene for a more wintry look.

In my second card I wanted to play with the beautiful new die, Opulent Negative Strip die. It makes an elegant background and I chose to pair it with Vintage Apple stamp + die (by the way in a great sale right now!!). I colored the apple with Copics and it's actually more like a plum this time... I think that works too! The sentiment comes from the This Rain Will Pass stamp set and I've used the coordinating die too. Hope you like and thanks for popping by!

July Release at Picket Fence Studios!

Hi friends!

Today I have a very exciting post for you... I'm guest designing at Picket Fence Studios for their July Release!! So many wonderful new goodies are being released... And I was thrilled to play with these products!! Thank you Picket Fence Studios for this great opportunity.  I had a blast and was very inspired!

I'm sharing 3 cards today and two more during the weekend. There's product links available and I'm sharing some product photos too. Please check out all the details from Picket Fence Studios store and blog!

Card 1

In my first card I created a sunflower background with the A Sunflower stamp. I cut masks with A Sunflower coordinating die and stamped and masked the background panel. I colored the panel with Copics. I used Scene Building Rectangle Two die for creating the white frame that I have lifted from the panel with foam. The white heat embossed sentiment comes from This Rain Will Pass, it's cut out with the This Rain Will Pass Coordinating die. I finished the card with white paint splatters and Sequins from Sequin Mix.

Card 2

This card was so easy and fun to make, yet the outcome is so impactful! I stenciled the leaves design from Slim Line Shadow of Leaves stencil using Spanish Moss Paper Glaze and Turquiose Jewelry Paper Glaze on greyish card. I just love the blend of colors and all the sparkle! I also used white glitter card for Slimline Oversized Cherished die  for even more sparkle! I die cut the sentiment four times and stacked the die cuts for lots of dimension. I trimmed my panel to be closer to a mini slimline card. I finished the card with Sequins from Sequin Mix.

Card 3

I begun this card by making the leaves with More Ash Leaves die. I used white glitter card for the top layer and scraps of pastel colored card for the bottom layer. These leaves are so detailed and pretty! I made the background with Shadow of Leaves stencil and Arctic Fox Paper Glaze. The sentiment comes from A Sunflower Coordinating die and I used black glitter card for the top layer of my 4 dies thick stack! A lot of fun dimension here! I finished the card with Sequins from Sequin Mix. I'm adding a slightly "darker" close up photo so you can see the sparkle from the paper glaze and glitter card better!

So, after seeing all the three cards... Which one is your favorite?!? Thank you again Picket Fence Studios for this fun GD gig! Make sure to check out the whole release from Picket Fence Studios store
