New Challenge at Inkspirational!

HI friends!
We have a very fun and unique challenge for you at Inkspirational, chosen by the lovely Sandie:

Here's the directions how to play along:

The 10 mins starts when you actually start making your card-you can collect all the items you need to make the card before you start that clock!
We would love to know how long it took you to make this-just for fun!

My card took a bit over 7 minutes but I think I might have cheated a little bit because I could not tell myself not to practice the design on a scrap piece of paper beforehand a little bit! :) Bad Nonni!

I used Hero Arts neon colored inks for the flowers and leaves and just good old Versafine for the sentiment. Love these Poppystamps flowers and leaves!

Sorry for the very quick and short blog post but I am not home right now but doing some intensive studying for work! I hope to see you joining me, our GD Deanne and all our design team in this fun stamping challenge!

Time Out Challenges Reminder!

Hi friends!
I'm here to remind you of our current challenge at Time Out where we are inspired by this photo:

I'm mainly inspired by the ombre sky in the painting!

This challenge is sponsored by STAMPlorations and I had the great joy to play with one of their cover plate dies, Bloomingtangled #1.

I used water color look designer paper for cutting the cover plate die. So easy to get an ombre look that looks hand-painted or inked with these papers! I backed the designer paper with Stick It adhesive before die cutting so adhering it to the aqua colored card base was a no brainer. I love the look of this and decided to leave this standing on my desk... I chose a very simple encouragement sentiment we can all relate to I think!

Our guest designer this time is the talented Heather. make sure to visit her blog along with our regular designers blogs for lots of inspiration! Happy crafting!

Guest Designing for STAMPlorations!

Hi guys!

I'm here with some GD coloring inspiration for STAMPlorations again with 3 new cards! Had some great fun with my Copics again. Let's have a look at the two first cards:

I created two cards that are basically exactly the same -the only difference here is the choice of card stocks for stamping and die cutting. Love how different the Copics look when you change the card you color on! Let me know in the comments if you are interested in the exact Copic shades I used! The materials for this card include:

Blossom Sprays #1 Stamp Set
Make  a Wish Word Phrase Die
Crazy Double Running Stitch Die

Here's a couple of close-ups from the beginning of the coloring process:

This was a very fun coloring in experiment to make!

With my summery floral makes I'd like to play along at Addicted to CAS: Summertime.

I'd also like to join Stamping Sensations: In my garden. (my third entry)

My third card for this post is a super simple and quick Shimmery Deer CAS card for Christmas. By the way all Christmas stamps are on 25% off sale until the end of July in STAMPlorations store! I used Yuletide Deer stamp set along with Crazy Double Running Stitch Die for creating the card. Very simple and basic Copic shading here -no reason to be super smooth because after the Copic coloring everything got a coat of Wink of Stella! Have a look of the finished card:

And here's a couple of close-ups.

Close up of the shimmer, I hope you can see it! :)

That's all from me today! I hope you enjoy what you see and will visit again. If you are not following my blog yet, I'd love you to do so! :)

New Challenge at Less Is More!

Hi friends!
We have a new challenge for you at Less Is More:

Let me apologize for the bad quality of my photo, I hope you can see all my stripes... I lost the memory card of my camera and I couldn't do much editing or anything with this pic that I just took with my phone. :(

In July our sponsor is Seven Hills Crafts, make sure to play along in all of our challenges for a chance to win!

All elements of my card are simply stamped, this was a super quick one layer to make! In addition to stamping my only extra detail is in the veins of the heart-shaped Concord and 9th leaves -I went over the stamped lines with a Sakura glitter gel pen for little something extra. The shine looks lovely IRL but this is just the worst photo ever! :( The background stripes are stamped with a Prima background stamp.

I hope you'll now head on over to our challenge blog and then visit my lovely team mates! Happy crafting!

Time Out Challenges Reminder!

Hi friends!
I'm here with a DT reminder card for our current challenge at TIME OUT:

This challenge is sponsored by Sarah Gray from Funky Fossil Designs. She sells wonderful stencils in her folksy shop HERE and I had great joy to work with one of her stencils in my card!

Our guest designer this time is the talented Amanda. Don't miss her card or any other inspiration by our DT, click HERE!

I created the background of this card with stencil, brushos and water. My Less is More DT friend Anita used this technique in one of her cards lately and I wanted to give it a try! It's very easy: you simply sprinkle brushos on top of your stencil, spray water on top, and then remove the stencil. I used too much water and it pooled quite a bit but I do like the end result anyway. The flowers are from PTI and are colored in with Copics and white gel pen. For these I owe thanks to my Time Out DT buddy Anita who has sent me the die cut card stock pieces to stamp the flowers on! So this card is inspired by not one Anita, but two! :)

With this card I'd like to join:

Guest Designing for STAMPlorations!

Hi friends!
I have a great joy to be part of STAMPlorations design team for a three months term in July-October. Me and two other ladies, Gloria  and Lee Ann, are creating cards for your inspiration with STAMPlorations products and lots of coloring. This post is extremely photo heavy so I'll go straight to the 3 cards I have for you today! Click HERE for the main post at STAMPlorations blog.

Card 1
My first card is created using Bloomtangled ATC #2 stamp and Crazy Double Running Stitched Nesting Dies along with a discontinued sentiment stamp. Coloring with Copics + gel pens.

Below is a close up or the front panel. I used dark colors for all the smaller details and spared the bigger images, like flowers, for the brighter colors to make them pop. List of Copics and pens used:

Greens: YG000, YG01, YG03, YG05 (lighter green)
G40, G43, G46 (darker green)
Yellow: Y01, Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17
Dark Red: R37, R59
Pink: RV 23, RV25
Grey: W1, W3, W5, W7
Purple: BV00, BV02, BV04, BV08
Blue: B14, B16, B18

In addition to Copics I used black, white, golden and sheer glittery gel pens.

Card 2
This card created with Darling Dog Roses stamp and Stained Glass Stencil + discountinued sentiment. Coloring with Copics.

Card 3
My third and final card is created with Heartfelt Thanks-rose stamp, Luggage Tags Nesting Dies + again the same discontinued sentiment stamp. I've colored my tag with Copics, white gel pen and Wink of Stella. I attached the tag to a card base I had covered with patterned paper.

And close up of the tag with the added pen details:

New Challenge at Less Is More!

Hi guys!
We have a new challenge for you at Less Is More for the next fortnight! This time it's a color combo:

Very beautiful color combination, I hope you'll agree! Can't wait to see what you'll create. Lots of more DT inspiration HERE. In the challenge blog your also find out all the details on how to play and how to get a chance to win a prize from our monthly sponsor Seven Hills Crafts. Our guest designer this time is Lynne and I love the artsy card she created for us. Don't miss it!

I needed to create my card a bit in a hurry so I ended up using dies. I hadn't played with this Echo Park flower die yet so decided it's time it came out to play... It's so delicate and pretty but a bit oddly shaped, I had real trouble finding a nice layout! I cut the flower cluster from patterned paper that has a watercolor look -love how the different shades of color add interest to the die cut without me needing to do anything extra to it! :) I finished the card with a couple of sequins and a simple white heat embossed sentiment.

Thanks for popping by and i hope to see you playing along!

New Challenge at Inkspirational!

Hi friends!
I'm here to show you my DT card for the new challenge at Inkspirational Challenges. Sorry this post is one day late but here I am now! The next fortnight we are inspired by this photo:

I chose to color in sun flowers due to the sun in the photo... And also the orange circle I used for my background is inspired by the photo. The background is created with brushos and white paint and the leaves are created with ink sprays -I had leftovers of both of these self made sheets in my "scraps" box. The flowers are colored in with Copics. I also added details with white gel pen and black fine liner. Hope you like and thanks for popping by! Don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT made, click HERE. Happy crafting!
