New Challenge at Less Is More!

Hi friends!
It's time for the last challenge of April at Less Is More. The month of April is sponsored by Visible Image stamps and our DT has very much enjoyed playing with their products! The flower stamp set I used in this card can be bought HERE. Please have a look at our challenge blog for lots of more DT inspiration!

I wish my photo was better in showing the shine this card has but no... It was really hard to capture in the lighting conditions I was working with! I've made the Copic colored flowers shiny with Wink of Stella and also the gold water color I've splattered has a beautiful shine on it. I splattered white paint as well. I've also created a "halo" around the flowers with yellow ink to make them look like they are glowing in light... And the rest of the kraft card I've evenly coated with white pigment ink to make the yellow halo pop even more. The photo is really bad and makes this card "look like nothing" but it is really nice in real life and I actually have it in my fridge door now because I like the message of the sentiment so much! :)

I hope I've inspired you to "Shine a Light" and I hope to see you playing along! Happy crafting!

Time Out Challenges Reminder!

Hi friends!

I'm here to remind you of our 5th birthday challenge at TIME OUT! I can't believe we already turned 5... My life has turned upside down (and even several times!) during these 5 years... It's good to have some stability in your life though... So I'm very grateful to Sandie for keeping this challenge blog going!

To celebrate TIME OUT and our fabulous leader Sandie I wanted to make a card with her on my mind. This card has a lot to do with her: I've received the Concord and 9th flower stamps from her as a gift and also the Winnie and Walter sentiment die cuts are from her... I know she likes my coloring and also I tried to keep my design CAS for her taste... So I hope she likes this!  Love you hon!

All the flowers are simply stamped and colored in with Copics on kraft. I've added some gel pen details + splattered white and gold paint on top.

The challenge is Inspired by Words:

The winner will receive an amazing $50 gift voucher to STAMPlorations store! Please have a look at all the details and more DT inspiration from our challenge blog HERE. This time Kara joins us as guest designer! LOVE LOVE LOVE the floral card she made for our reminder post, don't miss it!

Card for Challenges!

Hi friends!

I'm here to share a card for some challenges. I colored this a while back but haven't been able to post it due to being so busy! Absolutely loved to color in this Penny Black beauty, it's amazing how tse stamp covers the entire card and after the coloring your card is pretty much good to go! I finished mine with a STAMPlorations sentiment an a couple of sequins. Coloring with Copics and gel pens. Hope you like!

New Challenge at Less Is More!

Hi friends!
We have a new fun challenge for you at Less Is More:

You can use three images, three colors... Something where you have 3 of an item!

Visible Images continues as our March sponsor and I had a lot of fun playing with one of their amazing stamp sets called Creative Chaos

I begun this card by blending three ink colors on my card... And then stamped the flower image from the set three times. I splattered some white paint on top... And finished the card with an Altenew sentiment. Quite like how this turned out! It makes me think about the Finnish spring... flowers already rising from the earth but then we STILL get some more snow... ;)

Do visit our challenge blog for inspiration from our fabulous guest designer Joanne James and our design team members... And I hope to see you joining us!

Time Out Challenges Reminder!

HI friends!
I'm here to remind you ofo our current challenge at TIME OUT where we challenge you to be 'Uniqie'. This challenge is sponsored by Catherine Pooler Stamps and I had the great joy to play with their products. Love this Peace Love and Doves Background Stamp and I also used Dotted Circles Dies.

I think this stamp has such a unique look and I wanted to make it even more unique by adding color to it only partially. I cut out the circle and colored images in it with pencils and added lots of Stickles on top for extra festive look! The circle is popped up with fun foam for extra dimension. The die cut sentiment comes from Stamplorations. Hope you like and thanks for popping by! There's lots more inspiration from my team mates and our talented guest designer Elizabeth HERE.

New Challenge at Less is More!

Hi friends!
Here's my DT card for the new challenge at Less Is More where we have a theme challenge for you:

We have a new sponsor for March, Visible Images, and our DT has had the great joy to play with some of their goodies! The Visible Image product in my card is the fantastic wavy stencil.

Do have a look at our challenge blog for inspiration from our talented guest designer Jane and our regular DT members!

In my card I created the border first. I put down a mask cut to a wavy shape and sponged some green distress ink on the card. I then added the stencil and sponged blue ink through it. I lifted the stencil and sprinkled some water on the inks for more distressed look. I then stamped the Altenew fish images, colored them in with Copics and added lots of Stickles! The sentiment stamp is by Penny Black. Hope you like and thanks for popping by! I hope to see you playing along at LIM!
