Hi friends!
I'm bombing you with posts (will be back in 3 hours with some scheduled kit swap Easter cards...) but I wanted to get this second entry of mine to this weeks Less Is More online when there's still some challenge left!
Springtime can be very unpredictable in Finland and yes -last night there came some snow. Gooosh! The sun is shining warmly now so it's all melting away but the snow anyway inspired me to continue with my attempt to be ready with my Christmas cards on time this year. The sentiment stamp is Finnish for "Merry Christmas" and I've used image stamps by Hero Arts. I love the Scandinavian look of these small stamps and can already think many ways to use theses. Before stamping the images I masked the curved edge and sponged some grey ink on the card. After stamping I used white gel pen for adding dots to the background filling in empty spots.
The challenges I'm entering:
Less Is More : One Layer Curve
I'm very much into Hero Arts Christmas stamps at the moment! Definitely my favorite Holiday stamps in my stash!
Thanks for popping by and have a wonderful Easter!
What a beautiful card! Love that patterned paper! Very clean! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeleteHi Jen, how fun you thought it's patterned paper -it's just inking and stamping! Am quite chuffed though that you thought it was machine-made! :)
DeleteCute card, love the layout of it. Thanks for joining A Blog Named Hero.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Thanks for joining a2z.
ReplyDeleteYour stamped paper looks so unique and proffesional, no wonder some think it's a DP. I love this style, very Scandinavian or Nordic inspired!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome, Nonni! I love the Scandinavian folk art feel, and your inking/stamping are superb - it really does look like a sheet of DP! A fab CAS design. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)

ReplyDeleteA stunning design Nonni, love your crisp stamping and inking here - they're absolutely pristine. A fabulous CAS design and wonderful use of the CURVE, thanks for playing with us at Less is More this week x
ReplyDeleteSensational stamping on this card Nonnie! It is clean and crisp yet still has that folky, Scandinavian feel. At first I thought you had cheated with papers - but no, you stamp like a professional! Love it. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx
ReplyDeleteNicely done!! Great use of that stamp set! Thanks for joining us at a2z.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous one-layer card, Nonni! At first glance it looks like patterned paper on the bottom - so fabulous job with the stamping and sponging! Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
