Hi friends!
I'm here today with my DT card for the new challenge at Less Is More. This time we have a sketch for you:
Skull and Cross Buns continues as our January sponsor with a prize for our monthly winner.
Immediately when seeing the sketch I thought about this pretty old PT stamp with the bow and the strings... I thought it was perfect! I went with a die cut sentiment (Winnie and Walter). It's cut from red card and I've inked an ombre effect on it and added sparkle with WOS -unfortunately the camera didn't really catch neither of those effects very well.
Our guest designer this time is the fantastic Toni. Have a look at her fun card and all the DT inspiration in our challenge blog HERE... And then is your turn to show us how the sketch inspires you! Thanks for popping by and happy crafting!

Aaahh...Clean and Simple perfection, Nonni. I love your stamped in black, twine, which I thought was for real. Your red sentiment really pops and is a wonderful compliment to your twine. All so well balanced. TFS Hugs..Nancy
ReplyDeleteThe perfect stamp for this sketch, which I find a bit tricky. But the DT has made fabulous cards for inspiration, this is one of my favorites, so classy!
ReplyDeleteThat stamp is so pretty! You have used it perfectly. I really love the pop of red! xx
ReplyDeleteYes indeed, it is the perfect stamp for this sketch ! I really LOVE it. You've made such a delicate and CAS card with it. A beautiful contrast between the thin black string and the bold red sentiment. Very eye-catching ! Have a wonderful Sunday ! Hugs x
ReplyDeleteThat image could not be more fitting for the sketch, Nonni. I absolutely LOVE this card.
ReplyDeleteThat's the set I thought of too when I first saw the sketch, Nonni ... it's perfect ... so understated and perfect with the single sequin and that shimmery ombré thanks! Hugs, Anita :)

ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE your card Nonni! It is CAS to the max and that stamp was just the perfect one to use for the challenge. Fab ombre on the sentiment too. xx
