Hi guys!
We have a new challenge for you at Less Is More! This post is a couple of hours late due to me being an airhead -I forgot it's Saturday... So I'll just quickly tell you about my cards and click publish!
Card 1
(above)
In my first card this week I'm using a beautiful candle stamp by STAMPlorations along with a sentiment stamp by CAS-ual Fridays. The sentiment says "It's the most wonderful time of the year", it's a bit tricky to read in the photo. I've cut a circle out of masking paper and placed it on top of my card base. I've then stamped the candles and masked them. The background is made with sponging with distress inks + splattering with white acrylic paint + gold watercolor by Kuretake (the starry colors palette).
With my candles- card I'd like to join:

I've used same techniques in my second card. I've masked a snowbank + a moon that I had first sponged with greyish ink and then made the distress inked sky + splattered white paint + shiny watercolor for stars and snow. This time I used the white gold color from the starry watercolors palette -it's almost silver, very pretty! The sentiment is by CAS-ual Fridays again.
I'd like to join CASology: Stormy with my landscape card. I think there's a snow storm happening in there! :)
I'm also joining:
I hope to see you playing along at Less Is More! Our blog is filled with more inspiration by our DT + information about the challenge details and our December sponsor, Happy Little Stampers so do head on over there!

ReplyDeleteNonni, your two carda are gorgeous! I love the pretty greens of the first, and the snow storm is so serene and peaceful, I love it! Thanks for joining us at CASology!
ReplyDeleteI am swooning at both of these Nonni. The night sky and all those beautiful colours you've captured against the mounds of snow is fabulous and so eye-catching. The first one though has to be my favourite just by a teeny bit. The masking of the candle arrangement is excellent and so effective with the colour of ink you've blended over the top. The splashes of gold just add extra exotic detail. Simply perfect! Have a great week x
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful snowy scene - made me feel soft and peaceful - even though it was a snow storm! So happy you could join in the fun at CASology this week.

ReplyDeleteGreat minds do think alike! Two beautiful cards, Nonni! Love your masking, ink blending and splattering. I have the starry Kuretake paints and never think to use them. I can only imagine how gorgeous and shimmery these are IRL. Hope you’re having a wonderful week. xx
ReplyDeleteYou have showcased that technique with the distress inks and acrylic paint to perfection in these two cards Nonni. I really love that you left the candles image uncoloured. Your second card is such a peaceful scene too - really serene and, yes, magical. xx
ReplyDeleteSorry for the late visit, Nonni! These are both fabulous cards, your blending is beautiful. I love how the image on your first one stands out due to the masking and colour around it, great technique. But your sky on the second card is a triumph, what a gorgeous blend of colours, and I love those sentiment fonts too xx
ReplyDeleteTwo fantastic cards Nonni!! LOVE how you've left the candles white and coloured the background ... very cool design! And the snow hill with the dark starry night card is magical!! xx
ReplyDeleteOoops... I missed these cards. Maybe December was too crazy for me (as always). Love the candles card especially, pinned it to my Holiday Pinterest Board. - Sweet Kobylkin
