New Challenge at Less Is More!

Hi friends!
It's time for the weekly Less Is More challenge and this Saturday we have one of our theme challenges for you! The theme is "Take Flight". Our design team has wonderful samples for you HERE, don't miss any of them!

My first card is an all-white card created with a STAMplorations die cut butterfly, starry-galaxy type of Echo Park background stamp and Altenew sentiment. I heat embossed the background and the sentiment. This is actually my card nr 2, my first attempt is the second card of this post... It ended up to be on the edge of not-CAS so it didn't find his way to our challenge blog. :) I do like this all-white card but what a pain it was to photograph, goosh! I added a detail photo for you to have a closer look.

With this all white card I'd like to join:

Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Clean and simple
ModSquad Challenge: Heat embossing
Simon Says Monday Challenge: It's written in the stars

Below is the second card... It was nicely CAS before I ended up die cutting the wonky edges to the card base and making inlaid die cutting with the pieces -it looks ok in the photo but IRL it's pretty layered and "full". Love this backgorund stamp though, I have many ideas for it!

Before going I'd like to remind that in the month of September we are glad to be sponsored by Happy Little Stampers. Play along for the chance to win!

Thanks for popping by!

  1. I love them both, Nonni but then you are using my fave Stamplorations butterfly die! It is so beautifully detailed. The all white card looks gorgeous and the single colour keeps it CAS and elegant x

  2. Both cards are gorgeous Nonni and I love the way they look so different just with a change of background colour. I think you've just enabled me here .... what a gorgeous galaxy stamp that is! Have a fun-filled week. xx

  3. Love the two takes on the card. Gorgeous white on white and the purple needs to be straight on it's way to Sandie :)!

  4. Your white on white is simply elegant. Just perfect!

  5. Oooh! Delicious Nonni ... that white on white card is oozing elegance and class to the max. Gorgeous butterfly die and such a crisp and clean design. The addition of the purple on the second card showcases the butterfly and really makes it pop. Great ideas for this weeks challenge and have a fun week x

  6. Both beautiful butterfly cards, Nonni. Love white on white cards... and I LOVE your card! So striking and elegant. I may have to add that butterfly to my wishlist. Have a wonderful weekend and week. Trina xx

  7. That's a beautiful butterfly, Nonni ... and looks wonderful on both cards! My eye was especially taken by the white on white ... so much texture and dimension on such a deliciously clean card ... gorgeous! Hope you're having a little 'you' time this weekend! Hugs, Anita :)

  8. I have to say that I like both of these cards. The all white one is classic and beautiful, but I love to see the background in the second one. Thanks so much for sharing with us at the Mod Squad challenge. Good luck and hope to see you again.

  9. Oooooh ! I'm totally in love with your white on white card ! It is so elegant, so chic ! This butterfly die is just superb as well as the galaxy stamped background ! But I love your second card too ! I do not see what is wrong with it ! Funny, how two cards made with the same stuff look so different ! Have a fabulous Sunday and a great week ! Hugs xx

  10. Wow! I have nothing but absolute respect for anyone who can manage "less is more!" It is a skill I have not mastered, so I love seeing it successfully done by others. And you've done it beautifully here! I am so impressed by how you created such a great sense of energy and movement through the textures you included. And who would've thought to combine butterflies with constellations?? Genius! Thank you so much for sharing something so inspiring for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!

  11. Love the first card especially. All that embossing and mono white makes my heart happy.

  12. Loving that background stamp, it's really unusual. The white on white card is so classy, such stylish detailing. It's been a while since I made a white on white. I don't think your second card is too busy at all, love it just as much. Gorgeous work xx

  13. stunning card, luv the butterfly! I am so glad you played along with us at simon says stamp wednesday challenge!
