Hi friends!
We have a new challenge for you at TIME OUT Challenges. The next fortnight we are inspired by words
'May All your weeds be wild flowers'
You can be inspired of the whole sentiment or just choose one or more words for your starting point. Our Guest Designer Julia and our regular DT members have wonderful samples for you, don't forget to check them out!
In my card I used a Penny Black flower stamp and a sentiment from a Woodware set. Is it even Woodware? Something like that anyway. :) After making my bg with blue DI:s I played with my MISTI: I stamped the flower several times with different colored ZIG water color markers and water as demonstrated in Virginia Lu's fantastic video tutorial here. Wonderful technique, I think this turned out lovely! My card base is pure white, don't know where the pinkish undertone creeped in to the photo, grrr. ;)
Before heading off I want to let you know we are sponsored by Clearly Besotted Stamps. They are offering a 15 pounds voucher to use in their store to our winner. Happy crafting!
I'm entering:
CASology stencil (my bg was stenciled through a die cut opening in a card)
Cuttlebug Mania: May flowers (I used a spellbinders die for making my bg stencil)
Beautiful card Nonni! Love your watercoloured bacgkround ... and your pretty watercolour daffodils. xx

This has to be one of my fav cards of your's-so arty looking and you should frame it. I have to watch this video x
ReplyDeleteSimply lovely, Nonni ... soft and dreamy ... and just the most wonderful sentiment! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteOH, this is so pretty. Love your background and that flower. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure where my original comment went, so adding a new one:)
ReplyDeleteSo impressed by this artsy style, reminds me of the artwork of the old Dutch or French painters. The orange stands in great contrast to the blue background.
Pretty card Nonni! Lighting is often the issue when white cardstock appears another color. Doesn't matter - its a great card. Thanks for joining us at CASology this week.
ReplyDeleteAw... Nonni, your card turned out so beautifully! I love the ZIG markers and you really used them with the MISTI so fabulously! Thanks for the mention! I love your new blog look! Hope you are doing well! Enjoy your summer (while it lasts!!)
ReplyDeleteWow! Those flowers are stunning! I like the design and the bold melon color. I really am impressed with this card!
