Hi friends!
I'm here with my DT post for Time Out where we are celebrating the World Book Day for the next fortnight!
"The enjoyment of reading books is celebrated on World Book Day on April 23 in over 100 countries, and on the first Thursday in March in the UK. It’s a day to celebrate the privilege of being able to read, so head to the library or curl up on the couch and just be a bookworm!"
The Challenge runs from April 13th to April 26th.
We are generously sponsored by Newton's Nook Designs. Challenge winner will receive a $25.00 store credit and an invitation to Guest Design with us at Time Out for a future challenge. This time our guest is Trina P who is a wonderful CAS card maker and amazing colorist. Do not miss her card or any of the DT inspiration and challenge details, click HERE!
In my card I've used Newton's Nook stamp set called Newton's Book Club along with stencils from Altenew, Jane's Doodles and Create a Smile. I wanted to create a sort of 80's inspired pattern that could appear in a sweatshirt or a hoodie... And I LOVE how this turned out! I want a print shirt like this now lol! I could have been working straight on a card base and could have made this into a one layer card, but I really like the added dimension from using fun foam under the focal point panel.
I'd like to join:
We Love Stamping UK: Anything Goes with option of birds/animals
Stamping Sensations: Anything Goes with option of CAS
Thank you for popping by and I hope to see you joining us!
How fun and unique way to use the lovely Newton stamp and your stencilled pattern looks great! I too want a shirt like this :)

ReplyDeleteI just love your "mod" background and the repeated uncolored Newton image. This was such a great idea, with a very successful result!
