Time Out Challenges Reminder!

HI friends!
I'm here to remind you of our current challenge at TIME OUT where we have a wonderful photo inspiration for you:

Click HERE for all the challenge details and more inspiration from our design team and our guest designer Greta. I've been familiar with her blog for years and admire her card making -do check her work out if you don't know her already!

For my card I colored the wonderful Mondo Sakura flower stamp by Ellen Hutson with Copics and gel pens. I was also inspired by the turqouise wall you see in the photo and used a Tim Holtz embossing folder I thought looked similar. I used some blue ink and sanding to make the embossing more distressed looking. I used a white heat embossed greeting on black for the sentiment and some clear sequins for embellishments. Hope you like and see you at Time Out!

I'd like to join:

  1. Gorgeous colouring on your sakura spray of blooms, Nonni ... the jewel colours are just delicious with the texture-y blue background! Hugs, Anita :)

  2. you hit the background design perfectly and using the sanding just makes it look even more like the wall. And what stunning colouring...I just zoomed in on the blending of each flower-and you know what....your colouring is my fav techniques you use-you are so skilful at it and it always look so amazing-love, love this card x
