New Challenge at Less Is More!

Hi friends!

We have a new challenge for you at Less Is More:

This challenge is sponsored by Happy Little Stampers. Do play along for a chance to win a fabulous prize or to be chosen as a guest designer in the future!

I made two cards this time. It's been grey and rainy for the past week in Finland so photographing these was a pain... Please try to imagine the whites as pure whites and click the photos larger for closer look at the details!!

Card 1 Silver

For my first card I chose silver. I've die cut a Marianne Design snowflake and backed it with silver mirror card, it shows beautifully from the openings the die cut. I also die cut a circle from silver glitter card and heat embossed a CAS-ual Fridays sentiment. Lot's of silver in this card!

Card 2 Copper

My second card is a bit more busy but hopefully still CAS. I've die cut a Papertrey Ink snowflake and heat embossed it twice with sparkly copper powder. The Winnie and Walter sentiment is heat embossed on non-sparkly copper powder. The soft pink rectangle is die cut with a Penny Black die. I love copper and pink together!

This post is pretty short and sweet, sorry about that... But I'm glad to have you popping by and hope to see you again! Do visit my DT buddies for more metallic inspiration!

  5. I was having trouble leaving you a comment earlier so hopefully this time it will work.
Your cards are gorgeous! I’m a huge fan of silver so I’m partial to your first card... very elegant and stylish. A superb showcase of different metallic products too. I’m so impressed how so many of you have used copper to create stunning cards. I struggle to make anything decent with it. Pairing it with pink is a fabulous idea! Awesome cards! xx

  6. Classy, chic, CAS and elegant as ever Nonni. Love these metallic examples and swooning over those delicate die-cuts. Thanks for your kind words on my post and sorry if my stepping down came as shock - I've forgotten who I've mentioned it to in recent months with life being so busy. I will still be hopping around blogland as and when my crafty mojo re-appears so keep in touch. Hugs Sarah x

  7. Your silver and white card is such a beauty Nonni! I bet it sparkles so much in real life. The simplicity of the design is stunning and very elegant. Matching the pink with the copper on your second card was inspired - it gives such a warm look to the card. Beautiful designs xx

  8. Sorry I'm so late, Nonni! Loving these snowflake designs. The copper and pink is such a beautiful combo and I love that large snowflake. But the clean white and silver just oozes winter and Christmas elegance for me, stunning! xx
