New Challenge at Less Is More!

Hi guys!
We have a new challenge for you at Less Is More for the next fortnight! This time it's a color combo:

Very beautiful color combination, I hope you'll agree! Can't wait to see what you'll create. Lots of more DT inspiration HERE. In the challenge blog your also find out all the details on how to play and how to get a chance to win a prize from our monthly sponsor Seven Hills Crafts. Our guest designer this time is Lynne and I love the artsy card she created for us. Don't miss it!

I needed to create my card a bit in a hurry so I ended up using dies. I hadn't played with this Echo Park flower die yet so decided it's time it came out to play... It's so delicate and pretty but a bit oddly shaped, I had real trouble finding a nice layout! I cut the flower cluster from patterned paper that has a watercolor look -love how the different shades of color add interest to the die cut without me needing to do anything extra to it! :) I finished the card with a couple of sequins and a simple white heat embossed sentiment.

Thanks for popping by and i hope to see you playing along!

  1. That is a gorgeous card Nonni! I love the offset focal image die and the placement of the panelling really balances everything beautifully. You may have made it quickly, but it is really fab and don't we all strive for fast makes in clean and simple? Thanks for the inspiration. Have a great week xx

  3. Beautiful card, Nonni! I thought you watercoloured a piece and then die cut it out. Never thought it was die cut from pattern paper! Love the design and the fact it was quick to make. Great job! Enjoy the rest of your weekend. xx

  9. For a quick card this is a real stunner, Nonni. Loving the offset placement of the panel and the die cut, adds real interest. And the varying orange tones from the patterned paper add great detail. Love it! xx
