Hi friends!
We are back with another challenge at Less Is More. This time we are CASEing one of our DT members, the fabulous Susan, whose birthday it is today! Happy Birthday, Susan! Susan is a wizard with Copic coloring and here's the card she has made for us to CASE:
Now let's get into the cards I made inspired by Susan!
Card 1
The girl and the bear
(above)
In this card I used one of my favorite Christmas stamps from last year. This W+9 stamps image is so cute! I've colored the image with Copics, die cut it, and then die cut the shape 4 times out of plain white card. I glued all the die cut pieces together to avoid using dimensional adhesive -I love the way you can use scrap card for creating the dimension and saving your 3d adhesive for something else!
Card 2
Christmas Elf
In this card I've used the same die cutting technique. This MFT elf is not a Christmas stamp but I think it works for Christmas too! Again my coloring is made with Copics. The Christmas sentiment is Finnish (as in my first card). This challenge was perfect for making quick, fun Christmas cards! I embellished my elf with one die cut snowflake to make him look a bit more Christmassy. :)
My apologies for the the blue tint in my white card in the photos... The lighting condition were not that great when I was taking the photos!
Our November sponsor is Dies to Die for. Play along for a chance to win a fabulous sponsor prize + you could be chosen as guest designer too! Happy crafting and thanks for popping by!

ReplyDeleteLove your cards...and especially love how you are using the MFT gnome stamp as a Christmas stamp...so clever, I have to do that! Thank you for sharing my birthday and for all the lovely birthday wishes! xoxo
ReplyDelete2 fabulous designs Nonni and love how you've CASED Susan's card in both of these. That gnome definitely works for Christmas from where I'm looking and your colouring is just beautiful in both. Great ideas and have a fun week. x
ReplyDeleteTwo great cards, Nonni. What a cute huggy bear image, love it, such a cosy winter feel. And making your elf Christmassy works brilliantly, and I love the layout with the angled border x

I love your two CASE cards Nonni. The first one is full of warmth and festive cheer. But your Christmas elf is sensational. What an amazing image. Sorry I'm so late commenting on this but my UK visit, illness, a trip to the hospital and then an iPad that refused to work with Blogger all got in the way! xx
