New Challenge at Less Is More!

Hi friends!
We have a new challenge for you at Less Is More, a fun recipe challenge: Stamp Layering. You could use layering stamp sets or just stamp in layers (as I've done) and play with different colored/types of inks and heat embossing for example. Our DT has a lot of inspiring ideas for you, click HERE to have a look!

Our sponsor in the month of October is Uniko. Play along and you could be chosen as our monthly winner!

In my card I've used leaf stamps by Altenew. I've used a scrap piece of green card stock that has some shine to it (that shine is the reason why my card is photographed flat this time, getting the sentiment focused with my normal way of taking photos did not work at all!) and looked for an ink color that matched it well for tone on tone stamping. My second layer of stamping is made with white pigment ink. I also used a scrap piece of vellum and heat embossed my sentiment in white. I attached the stamped panel to a base card I made with a lighter green card. Still trying to use up my colored card and save some white! :)

Thanks for popping by and happy crafting!

I'm playing along at:

CASology: Cherish

AAA Cards: Inspired by Film
Into the Wild
An amazing (unbelievable-leaf-able!) true story about a guy who goes to Alaska wilderness all alone to see how he survives there... And unfortunately this adventure has a sad ending. My card is inspired both by nature-theme and the courage of the main character.

  1. I think your stamped panel looks perfect on green cardstock rather than white.a monochromatic design gives impression of a more clean look all the while the card remains colorful yet calm.

  6. Such a gorgeous panel Nonni! It reminds me of the sunlight catching the leaves wafting on a summer breeze. The vellum wrap with the sentiment is a beautiful touch too. A superb make xx

  7. Beautiful card, Nonni. Love the tone on tone stamping and then layering in white. I normally heat emboss in white, but I like the subtler look. Fun interpretation of your film and a clever punny sentiment. Hope your jet lag has improved. Have a wonderful week. xx

  11. I love that card base, fab texture and colour. You did a great job with layering the stamping. This I would not enjoy I think but I like your take on this challenge, you have made the card super CAS by keeping the panel small, love it x
