New Challenge at Inkspirational

Hi friends!
It's time for a new challenge at Inkspirational. Our guest designer this time is the ver talented Jane (loved the color combo of Jane's card!) and the DT has made stunning cards as always -don't miss any of them, click HERE

All stamps and dies in my DT card come from My Favorite Things. In addition to them I've used patterned paper with large polka dots. The gnome is colored in with Copics and I've also added white gel pen for extra polka dots! This card turned out quite cute I think and I was even able to add some sequins -I always suffer with adding embellies and usually just leave them out!

There's a small small small tiny tiny tiny bit of dropped glue under my sentiment die... And the photo makes it look like a huuuuuuge thing! Trust me, you can nearly not see it IRL. I'm super fussy about mistakes and would not have "approved" this card if the glue would have looked this bad. :)

Thanks for popping by, I  hope to see you playing along!

I'd like to enter:

Darnell's NBUS #9
My NBUS is the beautiful-die + the die for the gnome + the clear sequins! Yes! I'm so behind in the trends! ;)

  1. Love the colour mix and the extra white dots were a great idea. And as for the mistake....I just let it go, never fuss about mine, shows it is homemade!

  3. Nonni, if you hadn't said anything about the glue I would never have noticed. The camera tends to accentuate anything on dark card I find.Anyway, I love this cute card with the fabulous die cuts and the great spotty paper.

  4. Really cute card! That gnome is just adorable. The colours work beautifully together.

I'm constantly managing to make a mess with glue and ink... Definitely glad I invested in an adhesive eraser (for the glue) and sand eraser (for the ink.) And actually they were pretty inexpensive anyway!

  14. I'm light years behind in commenting, due to diploma exam marking (staying at my mom's = bonus!) that stretched from the initial 7 days I was scheduled to do, into 10! Blurry eyes, indeed...but I can still see how absolutely marvelous your polka-dots and gnome card is! Ultra cute! Speaking of gnomes, I watched *Gnome-o and Juliette* with my niece and nephew...too much fun! A clever take on the Bard's R&J...with a far happier ending!
