Hi friends!
We have a new, inspiring word prompt for you at Inkspirational: Dip! The DT has come up with some pretty amazing ideas for this so do check out their cards!
I went with " paint dipped" paintbrushes from PTI. I made a fast and simple ink smooshed (or whatever it's called!) background with DI:s, plastic and water and then stamped the PTI images and the sentiment from STAMPlorations. Hope you like and I hope to see you at Inkspirational!
I chose my color palette from ColourQ:
What a dramatic and cool card you made. Love your splotches of color. Thanks so much for playing along at ColourQ this week.
ReplyDeleteLooking cool and artsy! A great take on a challenging theme!
ReplyDeleteI love the smooshed colours - how did you do this without getting them all muddy-looking? Great card.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! I love the paint brushes stamp and your background turned out fantastic! Love it! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe paintbrushes, bursting with their pretty colour-smooshed paints, are a fabulous interpretation of *dip*! Love it!

Hi Nonni! I just spent some time strolling through your wonderful blog and enjoying your wonderful work. What a fun little adventure. I so love this card. I love the way you used the challenge colors for smoothing the background, and then the outline paintbrush images over top. Love the white panel set to the right of your card, and the sentiment is fantastic. I have been unable to craft for the past couple of weeks and am just so needing to get back to making things... Thanks for your wonderful inspiration. x Stephanie
