Hi friends!
I'm here today with some mid-month inspiration with the latest Hero Studio subscription products. Hero Studio is a monthly subscription program with new collections coming out every month... Options starting only from $17.50 per month. Learn all about Hero Studio and join in the fun HERE. November Studio is called "One More Chapter" and it's filled with gorgeous book themed products. Today I'm sharing bookmarks I made with the super cute Stamp and Cut of the Month Set.
I wanted to create His and Hers bookmarks to give as Christmas gifts... And I love how they turned out!
I've colored the stamped images with Copics and die cut them out with the coordinating die. I've then used the oval die that cuts the image in the blue bookmark to create the bases for the bookmarks:
I used the partial die cutting technique where I didn't cut the bottom end of the die (if you google partial die cutting you'll find plenty of tutorials about the technique) but trimmed the edges and the bottom with my paper trimmer to have it a bit bigger than what the original size would be.
I could then glue my stamped image on top and the design started to shape up! I used the circle dies from Tag Infinity Dies to cut the hole for a cute tassel from my stash.
I'd like to join:

These are both so pretty Nonni, lovely to see you at Allsorts but as explained on our blog and rules you do need to identify just one as your entry.

Beautiful bookmarks! Love the quotes on them. Thanks for sharing with us at A Cut Above's November Challenge.
ReplyDeleteNonnie, what a clever gift set you've created! I like how you used the oval die to reinforce the oval theme of the stamped images. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us at The Male Room for our "masculine floral" theme!!! -Donna
