Inkspirational Challenges Reminder!

Hi friends!

I'm here with a reminder card for our current challenge at Inkspirational. It's a fun moodboard with plenty to be inspired by. I chose the tulips of the photo:

I've used a Hero Arts stencil + die combo for creating this layered floral design. This was surprisingly fast to make and I love the impact with so many bouquets! Would never have come up with this without the inspiration photo so challenges for sure challenge us! :) I hope to see you playing along at Inkspirational, all challenge details HERE

New Challenge at time Out!

Hi friends!

I'm here today with my DT card for our new challenge at Time Out where we want to inspired you with the photo you see below! This photo has plenty to offer from drinks, fruit, metallics, glass/mirror... To flowers and using techniques like alcohol inking. I went with flowers and picked up a strong green + copper from the photo + my vellum circle is inspired by the round glass shelves in the cart. The sentiment die and Peony flower stamp both come from Picket Fence. I've watercolored the flower. I was supposed to make a lot lighter flowers in the beginning but I ended up not liking it... Needed the dimension from shading! So they are way darker than the flowers in the photo, oops. :)

New Challenge at Time Out!

Hi friends!

We have a new fun Inspired by Words challenge you at Time Out Challenges:

I was inspired by the "love yourself"-message and also chose to add gold accents to my card. When this post goes live my team mate and wonderful friend Stephanie is hopefully the owner of this card -we are supposed to meet in NYC on Wed the 10th of May... I'm there on a quick work trip and am lucky enough to get to meet Stephanie as a bonus!

In my card I've used two digital images by our sponsor Varada Sharma:

Bold Blooms and You are Stronger background stamps. I've grouped them together before printing them out. I then colored in the flowers with Copics and colored pencils. I'm very happy with how this turned out (some brush strokes are a bit too strong but oh well!) and that's why I decided to give it to Stephanie who I appreciate a lot. The photo is unfortunately not the best, have light issues... But you'll need to believe me when I say it's very cute IRL lol. :) I've added gold paint splatter, gold gel pen, gold heat embossed sentiment and gold sequins to bring lots of gold to the design!

New Challenge at Inkspirational!

Hi friends!

I'm here today with my DT card for Inkspirational challenge where the topic for the next fortnight is 

Think mini stamps, mini cards, mini dies, mini anything! 

I went with mini dies... Some of the rose pieces of this die sure did feel mini when I was paper piecing this together lol! The die comes from Memory Box , white heat embossed sentiment is from a Spellbinders set.
