New Challenge at Inkspirational!

Hi friends!
It's time for a new challenge at Inkspirational and this time we are inspired by a fantastic photo:

I loved this photo so much that I made two cards! I try to keep myself busy now while staying in, I feel that trying to stay creative is good for my mind. I'm happy that crafting blogs, IG and Youtube keep providing us relaxing content in the middle of all the worries of the world. I know many of us feel the same so if we have the time and we can, let's keep up crafting and let it lift up our spirits. Stay safe everyone!

Stamps by Altenew and CASual Fridays (the small all black "flowers" are by CASual Fridays, everything else is by Altenew).

I used an embossing folder in my second card. Love the two tone look that you get by adding ink to your folder before running it through your die cutting machine! I did this twice to get a really even coverage. The brown card I used was pretty soft and porous, I think that also helped for getting the ink to "sink in".

The sentiments are heat embossed but otherwise these are just simply stamped cards. Love these stamps by Altenew so much!

Thanks for popping by and I hope to see you joining us! Lots of more DT inspiration in our challenge blog!

Crafting with Milla! :)

Hi friends!
So much has been going on that I've forgotten to share this cute Stamping Bella girl with you, I already posted this in IG on Wednesday! Me and my wonderful crafting buddy and close friend Milla  from Mustesormi blog colored in this same image and created cards from it... Just for fun! Milla's amazing springy card is HERE. If you are unfamiliar with Milla, do pay her a visit, leave some love and follow her -Milla is an amazing colorist and makes exceptional cards!!

I've used Copics and gel pens to color in this image. The flower frame die is by Sizzix and the sentiment is from a company that no longer exists. Do love the style of it though!

Thank you for popping by and don't forget to check out Milla's card!

Time Out Challenges Reminder!

Hi friends!
I'm here with my reminder card for the current challenge at Time Out where we are celebrating our 6th birthday! Yayyy!

The theme is of course "Birthday". We are happy to be sponsored by our long time supporter STAMPlorations and I used only their stamps in the card that I created. This one took some time... But I do love the outcome, even more IRL... The day was not too good for taking photos. Anyway: I've randomly stamped flowers from Bloomdala Bliss  and colored them with Copics... Stamped and cut masks for all of them, masked them, and inked distress inks to the background. I've flicked water on it and also splattered white and gold paint. The white heat embossed sentiment comes from another STAMPlorations set, Pocket Blooms

I hope to see you playing along! Our winner gets an amazing $40 voucher to STAMPlorations store, wow! We'll also invite the winner to guest design for us. This time our GD is the very talented Christine. Thanks for popping by and I look forward seeing what you'll create!

New Challenge at Less Is More!

Hi friends!
We have a new color challenge for you at Less Is More

I used a small flower stamp by Clearly Besotted and colored it in with our colors using Copics and pencils. I wanted to add some interest to the design and used a MFT die for that. The sentiment is simply stamped and is by STAMPlorations.

Sadly this will be my last challenge as a design team member of Less Is More. My work life keeps me pretty busy these days and cutting down design teams feels like the right thing to do. I've been enjoying my time at Less Is More SO MUCH and being selected to the team some years ago still feels like my greatest crafty achievement! Thank you to Sharon, Anita and the whole team for the wonderful crafting company and inspiration!

Thanks for popping by everyone and I hope to see you playing along at Less Is More... As I will in the future as well! :)

Card for Challenges

Hi friends!
I'm here to share a springy floral card for some challenges. The large bouquet image is by Waffle Flower Stamps, so is the label sentiment, the scallop rectangle is by W+9. I colored the image with Copics, added some gel pen details, gold paint splatters and gold sequins for detail. The friend-die I've borrowed from a friend, sorry I don't remember the maker of it! Thanks for popping by!

New Challenge at Inkspirational!

Hi friends!
I'm here with my DT card for the new challenge at Inkspirational, this time chosen by our very own Inkspirational Carol:

I was in a mood for lots of stamping and coloring and created a fun and colorful and well, pretty random background with Waffle Flower stamps. :) I've colored the imeges with Copics and added white gel pen details along with black and gold paint splatters. Kind of wish I would have skipped the splatters... But at least they are tiny. :)

Thanks for popping by here! Lots of more DT inspiration and all the challenge details HERE!
