Time out Challenges Reminder!

Hi friends!
I'm here to remind you of our current challenge at Time Out:

You can be inspired by the whole quote or just some word/words.

Play along for a chance to win a fabulous prize by STAMPlorations and to be called to guest design for us in a future challenge! This time our guest designer is the fabulous, talented Helen. Don't miss the wonderful inspiration by her and our regular design team members!

I was inspired by the whole sentiment -I made a bold look birthday card with a sentiment that also goes well with dreaming and setting goals. The parrot is by STAMPlorations and the tropical leaves background is by Uniko. I colored the parrot with Copics and added some Stickles for sparkle. Hope you like and thanks for popping by!

Merry Christmas everyone and I hope to see you playing along at Time Out next year as well! xxx

Guest Designing at Penny Black Saturday Challenge... card 2!

Hi friends!
Here's my second Guest DT card for Penny Black Saturday Challenge -very sorry this post is several hours late! My brain is in Christmas mode I guess and unable to think about dates before the "big" Christmas dates lol! The Penny Black Saturday challenge is an Anything Penny Black Goes challenge with an optional monthly twist: In December it's 'Sparkle and Shine'.  I did go with the twist this time!

All the challenge details with lots more inspiration HERE.

I used the same poinsettia as in my first GD card but went with a very different look this time. I've colored the image with Copics and went a bit crazy with adding dots with gel pens lol. :) The heat embossed sentiment and banner die come from Winnie and Walter. The rectangle die with torn look edges is by Penny Black, as is the poinsettia. Hope you like and thanks for popping by!

New Challenge at Inkspirational!

I'm here with my DT card for the new challenge at Inkspirational

I decided to make another festive Christmas card. :) The dies I've used in my card come from Memory Box (the circle frame die) and Sugar Pea designs (the sentiment). Sorry for this super short post but am writing this in a hurry and not even on my own computer lol! Happy weekend everyone!

Time Out Challenges Reminder

Hi friends!
I'm here with my reminder card for the current Time Out challenge:

The card looks very wonky in the photo, sorry about that, don't know what happened! All the edges of the base are all straight IRL, you can trust me! :)

This challenge is sponsored by Uniko and I had fun using their stamps in my card. The background stamp is called Scandinavian Christmas and the sentiment is from a tropical, summery set called Paradise.

Our guest designer at Time Out this time is the very talented Angie! Play along for a chance to guest design as well... All the challenge and prize info, along with plenty of DT inspiration, HERE! I hope to see you playing along!

In my card I've use faux watercolor look designer paper for heat embossing my background with white powder. I've added some Stickles for the open images and some small rhinestones as well. I used Christamssy red card to frame the focal panel and used the same card for heat embossing the sentiment. I quite like the fresh look this has and the faux watercolor paper is great for stamping or heat embossing vivid looking backgrounds!

I'd like to enter:

Guest Designing at Penny Black Saturday Challenge!

Hi friends!
I'm here with fun news: I'll be guest designing in Penny Black Saturday challenge both in December AND in January! So excited! The Penny Black Saturday challenge is an Anything Penny Black Goes challenge with an optional monthly twist: In December it's 'Sparkle and Shine'.  I did go with the twist this time!

I've heat embossed the poinsettias with white pearl embossing powder that has lovely shine and a sort of greyish look instead of pure white. I've then water colored the images. I've added more sparkle with pens to the middles of the flowers and splattered shimmery white gold water color paint on top of the whole panel. The sentiment is heat embossed with liquid platinum embossing powder. Really love how this turned out -the photo is not great, please click it larger for better look!

I'd like to join:

New Challenge at Inkspirational!

Hi friends!
I'm here with my DT card for the new Inkspirational challenge:

Well I don't know how naughty my little MFT polar bears are... Might be they are more nice than naughty... Or maybe the one raising his hand is guilty of doing something he should not have? At least he is guilty for being super cute if nothing else!

I created my card inspired by the two current challenges at My Favorite Things:

I know the style of this card is unusual for me but I really enjoyed playing with designer paper and finding the best layout for the bears... So I'm happy I stepped out of my comfort zone! I added color and shading to the bears with watercolor and pens. I hope you like and thanks for popping by! I can't wait to see your 'naughty' creations at Inkspirational!

I'd also like to join:

Guest Designing at Uniko: 2nd card!

Hi friends!
I'm here with a quick post to share my second guest designer card for Uniko Challenge! All the challenge details are HERE. Thanks again Uniko team for having me!

I made a quick card with a Dutch DooBaDoo stencil. The stencil has these fun torn looking edges so I decided to use a Penny Black rectangle die that also has a torn look to it... The card turned out pretty edgy! :) I chose non-traditional Christmas colors for this. The sentiment is by Winnie and Walter. The splatters are made with white acrylic paint and with shimmery white gold paint by Kuretake. Hope you like and thanks for popping by... And again many thanks to Uniko team, I enjoyed creating my GD cards!

I'd like to join:
ABC Christmas challenge: F is for Faux (Faux torn edges)
Simon Says Monday Challenge: Tape it Up (Definitely needed tape for taping down that stencil!)

New Challenge at Less Is More!

Hello friends!
I'm here to share my DT card for the last Less Is More challenge for 2019. As usual, we take the December off but then look forward seeing what you'll create for us in 2020!

This time we have a sketch (or 2!) for you. Your "job" is to choose one triangle from the sketches for the inspiration of your card.

As you can hopefully see from my card, I went with the second sketch. This card was as CAS as it gets, took no time at all... I die cut the hearts with a Penny Black die from white card, backed the card with red card and adhered it to a card base. I then created the sentiment strip by heat embossing the sentiment with white powder on black and voila, my Valentine's card for mr Boyfriend (he might be 42 but I still call him my boyfriend!) was finished. :) The sentiment is by Altenew.

Tristan (Tinstar) is our talented guest designer this time and Catherine Pooler continues as our November sponsor. Play along for a chance to win a fab prize and to be called to guest design in a future challenge! All the challenge information, prize details and more DT inspiration in our challenge blog HERE. Thanks for popping by!

New Challenge at Inkspirational!

Hi friends!
I'm here with my DT card for the new Inkspirational challenge where the theme is Celebrating! Itäs our 200th challenge so that sure is something to celebrate! You can be only make a celebration card or also be inspired by the provided photo. Please head on over to the challenge blog for all the challenge details and lots of more DT inspiration!

I decided to make a celebration card AND be inspired of the photo. I did need a Christmas card for my card stash so I looked for a stamp that would somehow make the trick! This Poinsettia by Penny Black seemed to work at least somehow lol! I've heat embossed it with gold powder and colored it with colored pencils. I do think the sentiment is PB as well but I'm not entirely sure. I finished the card with some splatters and die cutting. Hope you like this and thanks for popping by!

I'd like to enter:

Penny Black and More: Christmas (my 2nd entry)
The Flower Challenge: Add Spots or Stripes (I hope my splatters are "spotty" enough!)

Guest Designing for Uniko November/December Challenge!

HI guys!
Today I have the honor to guest design in Uniko Challenge! I was the happy winner of their September/October challenge and it's great to join the talented design team for this new challenge where the theme is Christmas with the optional twist of 'tree'. All the challenge information and plenty of DT inspiration HERE! Thank you Uniko team for inviting me to join!

I decided to go with the twist in this card and played with a large Taylored Expressions birch background stamp. I've heat embossed it on black card with liquid platinum embossing powder and then added some gold and white paint splatters for shimmer and "snow". The die cut sentiment is by Stamplorations. I quite like the modern feel this card has and I do think it's gender neutral as well!

I'd like to join:

Hi friends!
I'm here to remind you of our current photo inspiration challenge at Time Out:

This time our guest designer is the wonderful Angie, she is such a talented card maker, I always admire her work in all challenge blogs where I see her play along! I was inspired by the white sentiment on red background, the wreath on the wall and the stripes in the cushions. The wreath stamp is by Altenew and the sentiment is by Winnie and Walter. I've colored the image with Copics and added red gems for "berries". Can't remember when I would have used patterned paper but I really liked it in this card! I hope you like it too and thanks for popping by!

New Challenge at Less Is More!

HI friends!

I'm here with my DT card for the new Less Is More challenge: That's Torn It. Very fun and unique challenge theme!

The month of November is sponsored by Catherine Pooler.

Play along in all November challenges for a chance to win a fabulous prize and to be called to guest design for us in the future! Please head on over to our challenge blog for all the challenge details and more inspiration from our fabulous team.

In my card I've used a wintry floral image by Stampendous and sentiment by CAS-ual Fridays. The base layer where I've stamped the flower is kraft card. I've first stamped it with regular black memento ink using my misti leaving the stamp in the misti for the duration of my coloring. After the coloring I've re-stamped the image with Versamark and heat embossed it with gold. I then glued the top layer with the torn window and did some extra tearing until it was to my liking. It still looked a bit boring so I did some inking for a more aged looked... It was starting to look very nice but then I sort of over did it and it looks a bit dirty now, yaiks. :) But... That's the way it is turn out. :) I added some Stickles detail to the berries and called it ready!

New Challenge at Inkspirational!

HI friends!
We have a new challenge at Inkspirational for you:

This often means CAS cards but my card is not very CAS because I stamped almost the entire background lol! The Christmassy flower cluster stamp comes from Penny Black and the sentiment is by CASual Fridays. I've colored the image with Copics and added some pen and glitter glue details. Really love how this turned out!

Please head on over to our challenge blog for more DT inspiration and all the challenge details!

Time Out Challenges Reminder!

HI friends!
I'm here with a quick post for reminding about our current challenge at Time Out, still running for about a week:

This challenge is sponsored by Uniko and I had fun using their background stamp (by it HERE) in my card! The panel I stamped with it seems to be all crooked but I promise it's just the photo, it's straight IRL. :) I decided to make a thank you card so I was inspired by the "be grateful" part of the inspiration sentiment. This turned out pretty masculine and CAS but I guess masculine thank you cards can be needed sometimes too! :)

Please head on over to our challenge blog for more inspiration from the design team along with all the challenge details.

Hope you like and thanks for popping by!

Christmas Card for Challenges!

Hi friends!
I'm here with a quick post with a card for challenges. This was inspired by THIS POST  by Dotty Jo. I found a new to me challenge blog through her post and also her little fox card gave me the idea for this card although the overall look is pretty different. :) Thank you Dotty Jo for the inspiration! The fox is by Lawn Fawn, the sentiment is by Winnie and Walter and the gorgeous snowlake frame is by Penny Black. The tiny snowflake die has come to me as a magazine freebie.

I'd like to enter:

New Challenge at Inkspirational!

HI friends!

I'm here with a DT card for the new challenge at Inkspirational:

I interpreted this with using a mask in creating the design in my card but there's many different ways to be inspired by this word prompt -have a look at all the amazing DY samples in our blog!

I'm using wonderful products from the UK in my card: the peony stamp is by Uniko and the stencil is by Funky Fossil Designs. I've watercolored the flower, then masked it, and created the stenciled background with a pretty much dried out black Memento ink that is a nice neutral grey now in it's "new life". :) I've added some white and gold splatters because I seem to have a problem, I can't leave my flower cards without them these days!

I'd like to enter:
Anything Goes (my 4th entry... I hope there's no limit in the amount of entries! Couldn't find a mention about that so let's hope it's ok to play along many times!)

Time Out Challenges Reminder!

HI friends!
I'm here with my reminder card for the current challenge at Time Out where we challenge you to be:

This challenge is sponsored by Newton's Nook and I'm using their fabulous Peony Blooms stamps and dies in my card.

I've colored the peonies with Copics, die cut them and formed the card with the help of Marianne Design square dies. I just love these dies, the stitch is super detailed and I love how it's on both sides of the die cut edge! The sentiment, heat embossed with white powder, is by Catherine Pooler.

Please head on over to our challenge blog for all the challenge details and more DT inspiration! This time the talented Shawna is our guest designer -play along and you could be called to guest design too! Thanks for popping by and happy crafting.

Card for Altenew October Challenge!

Hi friends!
I'm here with a quick post with a card for Altenew October Inspiration Challenge. I used a fantastic flower stamp from a set called Weekend Doodles. The stripes in the flowers inspired me to make a striped background and I love how it turned out. I gave this to my boyfriend so I left the card embellishment-free... The stripes are pretty masculine and he can easily handle some pink and flowers lol! :) I colored the image with Copics. Thanks for popping by!

In October we are sponsored by Uniko . Play along for a chance to with a fabulous prize + to be called as a guest designer in a future challenge!

In my card I've used fun flowers stamps from Uniko stamp set called Paradise. I thought the tropical feel of the flowers went well with the rainbow colors! I've colored the flowers with Copics and splattered black and white paint on top for a more artsy feel. The heat embossed sentiment is by Altenew.  Hope you like! Lots of more DT inspiration and all the challenge and prize details in our challenge blog HERE

I'd like to play along:
