Time out Challenges Reminder!

Hi friends!
I'm here to remind you of our current challenge at Time Out:

You can be inspired by the whole quote or just some word/words.

Play along for a chance to win a fabulous prize by STAMPlorations and to be called to guest design for us in a future challenge! This time our guest designer is the fabulous, talented Helen. Don't miss the wonderful inspiration by her and our regular design team members!

I was inspired by the whole sentiment -I made a bold look birthday card with a sentiment that also goes well with dreaming and setting goals. The parrot is by STAMPlorations and the tropical leaves background is by Uniko. I colored the parrot with Copics and added some Stickles for sparkle. Hope you like and thanks for popping by!

Merry Christmas everyone and I hope to see you playing along at Time Out next year as well! xxx

Guest Designing at Penny Black Saturday Challenge... card 2!

Hi friends!
Here's my second Guest DT card for Penny Black Saturday Challenge -very sorry this post is several hours late! My brain is in Christmas mode I guess and unable to think about dates before the "big" Christmas dates lol! The Penny Black Saturday challenge is an Anything Penny Black Goes challenge with an optional monthly twist: In December it's 'Sparkle and Shine'.  I did go with the twist this time!

All the challenge details with lots more inspiration HERE.

I used the same poinsettia as in my first GD card but went with a very different look this time. I've colored the image with Copics and went a bit crazy with adding dots with gel pens lol. :) The heat embossed sentiment and banner die come from Winnie and Walter. The rectangle die with torn look edges is by Penny Black, as is the poinsettia. Hope you like and thanks for popping by!

I'm here with my DT card for the new challenge at Inkspirational

I decided to make another festive Christmas card. :) The dies I've used in my card come from Memory Box (the circle frame die) and Sugar Pea designs (the sentiment). Sorry for this super short post but am writing this in a hurry and not even on my own computer lol! Happy weekend everyone!

Time Out Challenges Reminder

Hi friends!
I'm here with my reminder card for the current Time Out challenge:

The card looks very wonky in the photo, sorry about that, don't know what happened! All the edges of the base are all straight IRL, you can trust me! :)

This challenge is sponsored by Uniko and I had fun using their stamps in my card. The background stamp is called Scandinavian Christmas and the sentiment is from a tropical, summery set called Paradise.

Our guest designer at Time Out this time is the very talented Angie! Play along for a chance to guest design as well... All the challenge and prize info, along with plenty of DT inspiration, HERE! I hope to see you playing along!

In my card I've use faux watercolor look designer paper for heat embossing my background with white powder. I've added some Stickles for the open images and some small rhinestones as well. I used Christamssy red card to frame the focal panel and used the same card for heat embossing the sentiment. I quite like the fresh look this has and the faux watercolor paper is great for stamping or heat embossing vivid looking backgrounds!

Guest Designing at Penny Black Saturday Challenge!

Hi friends!
I'm here with fun news: I'll be guest designing in Penny Black Saturday challenge both in December AND in January! So excited! The Penny Black Saturday challenge is an Anything Penny Black Goes challenge with an optional monthly twist: In December it's 'Sparkle and Shine'.  I did go with the twist this time!

I've heat embossed the poinsettias with white pearl embossing powder that has lovely shine and a sort of greyish look instead of pure white. I've then water colored the images. I've added more sparkle with pens to the middles of the flowers and splattered shimmery white gold water color paint on top of the whole panel. The sentiment is heat embossed with liquid platinum embossing powder. Really love how this turned out -the photo is not great, please click it larger for better look!
